The official nature of the degree was established by the Agreement of September 15, 2026, of the Council of Ministers, published in the Official State Gazette number 234, dated September 22, 2026.

Official publication and prior procedures

Publication in the Official Gazette of Aragon closes the administrative phase of a degree that had already passed the quality and regional authorization filters. The document bears the seal of the rector Rosa María Bolea Bailo and is dated in Zaragoza on October 1, 2026, two weeks before its appearance in the gazette.

The path followed combines the state verification of the Council of Universities, the favorable report from the Aragonese quality agency, and the authorization of the Autonomous Community of Aragon, culminating in the agreement of the Council of Ministers which grants official status to the degree.

Training in artificial intelligence is thus consolidated within the Aragonese university offering with a program of an interdisciplinary profile, aimed at combining computational fundamentals with practical application. The plan incorporates professional internships and an interdisciplinary elective subject, in addition to the master’s thesis, which opens the door to profiles coming from fields other than computer science.
