Zaragoza opens public consultation for the second phase of Operation Asphalt

The Zaragoza City Council has opened the public information process for the works project titled “Asphalt Operation 2026 (2nd phase)”, with a budget of 1,249,990.48 euros (VAT included) and an execution period of six weeks. The decision was adopted through the Agreement of September 25, 2026, of the Government of Zaragoza, in its first and second points, and is published in the Official Gazette of Aragon on October 2, 2026, number 192, section V of Announcements, with the official reference BOA20261002030.

The announcement subjects the project to the public information process for a period of fifteen days, in accordance with the provisions of article 345 of Decree 347/2002, of November 19, of the Government of Aragon, which approves the Regulations on Assets, Activities, Services, and Works of Local Entities of Aragon. Once the public information period has concluded and all mandatory reports have been issued, the Government of Zaragoza will resolve on the approval of the project.

Fifteen days to submit allegations

Interested parties have a period of fifteen days to formulate allegations to the project. These must be submitted to the Registry of the Zaragoza City Council, indicating in the subject line “Allegations to file number 0074659/2026” and addressing them to the Legal-Technical Office of Urbanism, Architecture, Infrastructure, Energy, and Housing.

The file is displayed during the same period on the contractor profile of the Zaragoza City Council, accessible at the web address https://www.zaragoza.es/sede/servicio/contratacion-publica/.

Budget, deadlines, and guarantee

The economic and temporal figures established by the agreement are as follows:

• Budget excluding VAT: 1,033,049.98 euros.
• Budget including VAT: 1,249,990.48 euros.
• Execution period of the works: six weeks.
• Guarantee period: two years.

The project was drafted by the Infrastructure Conservation Service of the Zaragoza City Council, as stated in the announcement published in the Official Gazette of Aragon.

Processing and signing of the announcement

The announcement is issued in Zaragoza on September 25, 2026, and is signed by Patricia Pérez Andrés, General Administration Technician assigned to the Legal-Technical Office of Urbanism, Architecture, Infrastructure, Energy, and Housing of the Zaragoza City Council.
