Zamora publishes the provisional allocation of grants to its sports clubs

Por FactBox Admin

The Zamora City Council has approved the provisional resolution for the distribution of points and budget amounts for the competitive grant call for sports clubs in the municipality for the year 2026. The announcement, signed by Mr. Manuel Alexander Alonso Escribano, Councilor for Sports and President of the Valuation Body and case instructor, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Zamora number 100, dated August 28, 2026, pages 15 to 23.

The resolution stems from the agreement of the Management Body dated August 23, 2026, and the report from the head of service of the same date, and is issued within the framework of the 2025 regulatory bases for grants to sports clubs of the Zamora City Council. The distribution is structured into two lines: Line 2, intended for team sports clubs, and Line 1, divided into two sub-lines for the remaining entities.

Exclusion of a club for failure to comply with the bases

The resolution first agrees to exclude the club EQUUS DURI (CIF G49266612), assigned to Line 1, sub-line 1, from the call. The reason cited is that it does not comply with the regulatory bases, as its registered office is located outside of Zamora.

Distribution of points and amounts by line

The economic distribution is broken down based on the number of clubs and the budget amount of each line:

  • Line 2: 4 clubs, 878,436.38 points, €170,000.00 (€0.1935/point).
  • Line 1, sub-line 1 (first distribution): 23 clubs, 39,451.96 points, €78,536.59 (€1.99/point).
  • Line 1, sub-line 1 (second distribution): 20 clubs, 31,991.20 points, €874.26 (€0.0273/point).
  • Line 1, sub-line 2 (first distribution): 18 clubs, 23,379.72 points, €61,463.41 (€2.6289/point).
  • Line 1, sub-line 2 (second distribution): 15 clubs, 16,529.06 points, €4,326.11 (€0.2617/point).

Line 2 includes the clubs BALONMANO ZAMORA (G49170780), RIVER (G49263841), BALONCESTO ZAMORA (G49030281), and ZAMARAT (G49148984), which account for the majority of the amount. Among the Line 1 clubs, NATACION ZAMORA (5,019.42 points), CD ACTIVIDADES NAUTICAS (3,377.92), and NATACION SAN JOSE OBRERO (3,116.43) stand out in terms of scoring.

Clubs opting for the maximum permitted

The resolution indicates that six entities have opted for the maximum permitted according to the data provided in annex 4 of the call:

  • TRAILPUNKS (G56355613), Line 1, sub-line 1.
  • CD ACTIVIDADES NAUTICAS (G49134844), Line 1, sub-line 1.
  • NATACION SAN JOSE OBRERO (G49282650), Line 1, sub-line 1.
  • SPORTING ZAMORA (G49263205), Line 1, sub-line 2.
  • LA AMISTAD 2000 (G49190481), Line 1, sub-line 2.
  • PADEL DUERO (V49237134), Line 1, sub-line 2.

Period for appeals

In accordance with section 10.1 of the regulatory bases, interested parties have a period of ten days from the date of publication to submit allegations regarding the provisional allocation and, if applicable, reformulate their application. The resolution, dated in Zamora on August 24, 2026, and signed by the mayor, is provisional in nature; therefore, the final amounts may vary following the hearing process.

The publication represents a key step for dozens of local entities and athletes in the municipality to receive municipal financial support in 2026, in a process that combines objective scoring criteria with the guarantee of participation for the affected clubs.
