Zamora approves the final list of the administrative employment pool

The Zamora City Council has approved the final list of admitted and excluded candidates for the establishment of the administrative staff employment pool, after resolving the appeals submitted by the applicants. The decision was adopted via Mayoral Resolution No. 2026-10674, dated September 13, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Zamora No. 108, dated September 16, 2026.

The call for applications is framed within the General Bases for the Establishment of Employment Pools of the Zamora City Council, published in BOP No. 70, dated June 15, 2026, and the Specific Bases governing the administrative pool, published in BOP No. 78, dated July 6, 2026. The process affects the administrative body of General Administration, Group C, Subgroup C1, and ranks the applicants by the self-assessed score provided by each.

Upheld and dismissed appeals

The resolution upholds the appeals submitted by 70 applicants, who now join the list of admitted candidates. Among them are Leticia Allende Gallego, María Almeida Lago, Laura Alonso Domínguez, Beatriz Alonso Núñez, Luis Miguel Arranz Hernández, Pilar Barba Gallego, Rebeca Bermejo Vega, Judith Calzas Gómez, Patricia del Canto Rodríguez, Silvia Díez Sánchez, Sara García González, Carmen Hernández Santiago, Alexandra Jorrín Roldán, María Teresa Jurado Prieto, Susana López Martínez, Guillermo Mateos Pérez, Raquel Mayo Rivera, Lidia Payo Álvarez, Mónica Pozo Fernández, Isabel Ramajo Piriz, Diana Ramos Jimeno, Julia Rodrigo Ramos, Claudia Salgado Cordero, Carmen Sánchez García, Irene Sánchez Prada, Laura Sánchez Prieto, María José Sebastián Juan, Juan Pablo Tejedor Rivera, Lourdes Tobal Andrés, Concepción Valle Santos, Seila Vaquero Álvarez, Isabel Vázquez Agromayor, and Ana Villar Martínez, among others.

Conversely, the appeals of other applicants are dismissed, such as Raquel Balbas Aguilar, Ernesto José Bartolomé Villafranca, Cristina Blanco Nieto, Verónica Conejo Arias, M.ª Carmen España Fradejas, Laura García Lastra, Gemma Beatriz González Martín, Ana Nibosca Hernando Manzano, José Lorenzo Lorenzo, Rafael Miguel Esteban, Caridad María Pérez Martín, Cristina Ramos Gallego, María Sonia Rego Borrallo, Carolina Rodríguez Mulas, Leticia Rodríguez Salvador, Paloma Santos Hernández, and Isabel Viktora Gómez.

The final list of admitted candidates

The resolution approves the administrative employment pool with a total of 210 admitted persons, ordered by self-assessed score. Heading the list are:

• María de los Ángeles Gómez Sotoca, with 35.75 points.
• Paula Domínguez Blanco, with 34.95 points.
• Alexandra Jorrín Roldán, with 33.30 points.
• María Asunción Escudero Merino, with 30.20 points.
• Antonio Luis García Rubio, with 29.90 points.

Inclusion in the list of admitted candidates does not constitute recognition that the applicants meet the general and specific requirements of the call, the accreditation of which will be verified at the procedural moment established in section 8.1 of the General Bases.

Grounds for exclusion and tie-breaking

The list of excluded candidates lists the grounds for exclusion, among which the following stand out:

• Failure to submit the standardized self-assessment in accordance with Annex II of the Specific Bases.
• Failure to provide the sworn statement of compliance with the required requirements.
• Self-assessment not completed in accordance with the merits scale of Annex I (specific base 3.3.).
• Failure to exceed the cutoff score of 1.5 points established in the fourth specific base.

To resolve ties, general base 6.2 is applied, determining that the underrepresented group in the administrative body is male and that the letter resulting from the draw for the order of action is “B”, in accordance with the Resolution of June 29, 2026, of the Secretary of State for Civil Service (BOE of July 3, 2026).

Appeals

This resolution concludes the administrative process. Interested parties may optionally file a request for reversal before the same body within one month of publication, or challenge it directly before the contentious-administrative jurisdictional order within two months.

The approval of this employment pool represents a significant job opportunity for the 210 admitted applicants, who may be called to fill administrative positions at the City Council of Zamora. Publication in the official bulletin provides legal certainty to the process and opens the door to covering temporary staffing needs in local administration.
