Yebes approves the final list for the management technician competition

The Yebes City Council has approved the final list of persons admitted and excluded from the merit-based competition called for the permanent filling of a management technician position, as stated in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 175, dated September 14, 2026. The resolution, adopted by decree no. 2026-0684, dated September 9, 2026, also designates the members of the Evaluation Commission and summons the tribunal for the upcoming September 25.

The final list is issued following the publication of the provisional list in BOP no. 162, dated August 25, 2026, and on the City Council’s electronic office. After the ten-day period for filing claims or challenging the members of the Evaluation Commission had elapsed, no claims or allegations were submitted; therefore, the list remains firm in accordance with section 5 of the rules governing the competition.

Admitted and excluded applicants

The final list of applicants consists of two admitted persons, with no exclusions recorded:

• David Valero Sanz (ID *2599)
• María Esther Rojo Ortega (ID *2017)

Excluded applicants: none.

Designated Evaluation Commission

The decree definitively designates the members of the competition’s Evaluation Commission, which is composed of the following persons:

• Permanent President: José Damián Establés Pérez; substitute, Rafael Santiago Larriba
• Permanent Secretary: Juan José Garralón Blas; substitute, Miguel Coronado Vidal
• Permanent Members: Marta Navarro Ortega, Piedad Martín Martín, and Carlos Tavira Sánchez
• Substitute Members: Melchor Martínez Casado, Celia Zamora Benito, and Javier Orea Arribas

Tribunal summons and appeals

The tribunal is summoned for its constitution and the evaluation of the merits accredited by the applicants, in accordance with the provisions of rule 7 of the call, on September 25, 2026, at 8:30 AM. Against this resolution, interested parties may file an optional appeal for reversal before the Mayor’s Office within one month from the day following publication, or directly file a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Provincial Court of First Instance of Guadalajara within two months, pursuant to articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015 and article 46 of Law 29/1998. The announcement is signed by the mayor, Enrique Quintana Arranz, in Yebes on September 9, 2026.

The resolution closes the admission phase of a selection process that directly affects the two admitted candidates and the municipal staff of Yebes, by defining the tribunal that will assess the merits and establishing the assessment calendar. Publication in the official bulletin guarantees transparency and the right of the interested parties to challenge the decision within the legally established timeframes.
