Xunqueira de Espadanedo announces grants of 80 euros per Early Childhood Education student

The City Council of Xunqueira de Espadanedo announces grants for the acquisition of school materials intended for families of students in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education registered in the municipality, with a fixed amount of 80 euros per student for the 2026-2027 academic year. • Manual work pads, colored paper, plasticine, and modeling clay
• Plastic rolls for covering books and white sheets of paper
• Pens, pencil cases, markers, wax crayons, paints, temperas, watercolors, and highlighters
• Corrector, glues, children’s scissors, paper clips, compasses, erasers, and pencil sharpeners
• Folders, binders, transparent sleeves, and rulers

The list is further open to those elements that have the status of school material.

Deadline and submission of applications

Applications must be submitted to the general electronic registry of the City Council of Xunqueira de Espadanedo. The submission period is one month starting from the day following the publication in the BOP of Ourense, meaning the count begins on September 17, 2026.

The call does not establish a maximum global amount nor a number of beneficiaries, but rather a fixed unit amount per student, which leaves the final allocation dependent on the applications that are admitted.

The publication of the extract in the provincial gazette is the requirement that activates the deadline and guarantees the publicity of the call for all potentially beneficiary families in the municipality.

The aid covers part of the expenses that families assume at the beginning of the school year, in an educational level—the second cycle of Early Childhood Education—where the purchase of books, notebooks, and craft materials concentrates a large part of the September expenditure. Interested families must formalize the application electronically within the month following the publication, as the deadline is unique and a second call will not be announced.
