Xove announces two job vacancies in the 2026 public employment offer

The Xove City Council is calling for two labor staff positions within its Public Employment Offer for the year 2026, approved by Mayoral Resolution on August 27, 2026. The call was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo, number 200, year 2026, on September 1, under reference R. 2337.

The decision was adopted by the mayor, José Demetrio Salgueiro Rapa, and represents an opportunity for local public employment for the residents of the Mariña region. The positions fall under the labor regime, within the Special Administration scale and Special Services subscale, with classification group and subgroup AP.

The called positions

The offer includes a total of two positions, both of a labor nature and accessible without the requirement of a specific degree (group AP):

• Multiple Services Laborer — 1 position.
• Street Cleaning Laborer — 1 position.

Both positions belong to the Special Administration scale, Special Services subscale, and are intended to reinforce the basic municipal services of the council.

Regulatory framework and appeals

The call ends the administrative route, therefore interested parties may alternatively file the following appeals:

• Optional appeal for reversal before the Mayor’s Office, within one month from the day following the publication of the announcement, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure.
• Contentious-administrative appeal before the corresponding section of the Court of First Instance of Lugo, within two months, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, on Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction.

If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious-administrative appeal cannot be filed until the former is expressly resolved or dismissed by silence.
