Xinzo de Limia amplía créditos con 367.712 euros para varias partidas municipais

The City Council of Xinzo de Limia has definitively approved the credit modification file no. 10/2026 of the current Budget, in the form of a credit supplement, for a total amount of 367,712.51 euros. The resolution is published in section IV (Local Entities) of the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on September 30, 2026, with the official reference R. 2.314, and bears the signature of the mayor, Amador Díaz Penín.

Initial approval in August and definitive approval without objections

The file had been initially approved by the City Council Plenary in an ordinary session on August 27, 2026, under file number 6696/2026. The public exhibition announcement was published in BOP Ourense number 171, on September 8, 2026, opening a period of fifteen business days for claims and objections.

As no objections were presented during that period, the credit modification was considered definitively approved, as provided for in the initial announcement itself. The current publication in the provincial gazette complies with the provisions of Article 169 of the Law regulating local finances, by referral from Article 177.2 of the same legal text.

The items being increased

The credit supplement is distributed among three budgetary applications:

  • 330/22609: 50,000.00 euros.
  • 153/21000: 167,712.51 euros.
  • 920/22100: 150,000.00 euros.
  • Total: 367,712.51 euros.

The item with the highest amount is 153/21000, with 167,712.51 euros, followed by 920/22100, with 150,000.00 euros, and 330/22609, with 50,000.00 euros.

Financing with State taxes

The operation is financed entirely through higher revenues from participation in State taxes. According to the detail accompanying the announcement, application 420.00, under the description “Participation in State taxes,” provides the 367,712.51 euros that cover the entirety of the supplement.

In this way, the City Council does not need to resort to debt or other sources of financing to fund the increased items, but rather takes advantage of a higher settlement of the municipal participation in state taxes.

Appeal process

A contentious-administrative appeal may be filed directly against the definitive approval, in the form and within the time limits established by the rules of the aforementioned jurisdiction. The announcement specifies that this is understood without prejudice to the fact that interested parties may exercise any other appeal they consider appropriate.

The publication of the definitive approval closes the administrative processing of the file and enables the effective availability of the supplemented credits.
