Government extended the concession for the Opatija sports harbor until 2051

The Government of the Republic of Croatia has granted consent to the Decision of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Assembly on the 2nd amendments to the Decision on granting a concession on maritime domain for the construction and economic use of a special purpose port – Opatija sports port. The concession is extended for an additional 10 years, concluding on September 27, 2051, and the decision was published in the Official Gazette (Narodne novine) No. 103 of September 16, 2026, under number 1247.
The Government made the decision at a session held on September 14, 2026, based on Article 31, paragraph 2 of the Act on the Government of the Republic of Croatia (“Official Gazette”, No. 150/11, 119/14, 93/16, 116/18, 80/22, and 78/24) and Article 22, paragraph 1 of the Act on Maritime Domain and Seaports (“Official Gazette”, No. 158/03, 100/04, 141/06, 38/09, 123/11, 56/16, and 98/19), in connection with Article 221, paragraph 1 of that Act (“Official Gazette”, No. 83/23).

The decision on the 2nd amendments was made by the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Assembly at a session held on April 16, 2026, and refers to the concession for the construction and economic use of a special purpose port – Opatija sports port, City of Opatija (class: 024-04/26-01/3, reg. no: 2170-01-01/5-26-14).
