Por FactBox Admin

The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism approved the selection of five projects from the Housing Choice Solidarity Fund under the collective application alternative for construction on new land with assisted self-construction and industrialization, with 613 homes and 808,860 UF committed. The decision is contained in exempt resolution No. 1,546, dated October 5, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile No. 44,572, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, Section II, pages 1 to 3 (CVE 2882869).
The act is issued under DS No. 49 (V. y U.), of 2011, which regulates the program, and the call established by exempt resolution No. 682 (V. y U.), dated May 5, 2026, amended by exempt resolution No. 1,212 (V. y U.), dated August 4, 2026. The latter set the closing of the process for August 27, 2026.
The selection was carried out among the projects that held a Qualified Project Certificate as of that date, according to the order and date of obtaining said qualification, or until available resources were exhausted. For this reason, the resolution specifies that it was not appropriate to apply the order of precedence or the score calculations of articles 22 and following of the program regulations.
The five selected projects
- Hacienda Huamalata, in Ovalle (Coquimbo Region), code 193883: 159 homes, 157 families up to 70% of the RSH, 2 without assigned families, and 209,880 UF.
- Altos de Puchuncaví I, in Puchuncaví (Valparaíso Region), code 198122: 128 homes, 108 families up to 70% of the RSH, 20 without assigned families, and 168,960 UF.
- Altos de Puchuncaví II, code 198125: 95 homes, 82 families up to 70% of the RSH, 13 without assigned families, and 125,400 UF.
- Altos de Puchuncaví III, code 198126: 76 homes, 71 families up to 70% of the RSH, 5 without assigned families, and 100,320 UF.
- Villa Ensueño, in Peumo (O’Higgins Region), code 190476: 155 homes, 134 families up to 70% of the RSH, 1 family between 80% and 90% of the RSH, 20 without assigned families, and 204,300 UF.
Financing and resources of the call
The total amount committed across the five projects amounts to 808,860 UF. The call had 1,067,967 UF available for the entire country, meaning 259,107 UF remain available after this selection.
The selected projects will be assigned the total resources for land acquisition and the execution of works, even if there are families remaining to be assigned. An average amount was considered for the allocation; the final subsidy amounts, including technical assistance services and technical inspection of works, must be determined by resolution of the Director of the respective Serviu.
How families are nominated
In projects that have been granted benefits but do not have all assigned families, the corresponding Seremi of Housing and Urbanism must nominate them and issue the subsidy certificate, upon request from Serviu. Families must be associated with the project and in an eligible status for nomination.
Nomination may occur at any stage of the project’s development and construction. However, to begin the Housing and Equipment Execution phase, the project must have at least 70% of the families assigned, in accordance with resolution 4.1 of exempt resolution No. 682 (V. and U.), of 2026.
The resolution bears the signature of the Minister of Housing and Urbanism, Iván Slavko Poduje Capdeville, and was transcribed by the Undersecretary of Housing and Urbanism, Natalia Aguilar Bravo.
The impact of this selection is direct for the committees and families who were awaiting the August 27 closure: 613 homes now have guaranteed financing in four communes in the north and center of the country, and the committees that are still incomplete retain the possibility of adding families until they reach the 70% required to enter the works execution phase.
