Viveiro publishes the provisional list of admitted candidates for the legal technician position

The Viveiro City Council published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo on Saturday, August 29, 2026 (no. 197), the provisional list of persons admitted and excluded from the selection process for the permanent appointment to the position of Legal Urban Planning Technician, Department Director (SX5.0/023). The resolution, signed by the mayor-president, Ms. María Carmen Gueimunde González, bears the reference R. 2320 and is dated August 26, 2026.

The process is convened in the General Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, through the competitive examination system and in the open access category, within the public employment offer (OEP 2024). The call and the regulatory bases were published in the BOP of Lugo on March 23, 2026 (no. 66), in the Official Gazette of Galicia on May 15, 2026 (no. 89), and in the Official State Gazette on July 17, 2026 (no. 173).

Admitted persons

The provisional list includes three admitted applicants, all of whom are exempt from taking the Galician language proficiency test:

• Tania Aguiar Fernández (exempt)
• Noemi Braña Seijo (exempt)
• Elena Insua López (exempt)

Excluded persons and reasons

Three applicants appear as excluded on the provisional list, with an express indication of the reason for exclusion and its correctable nature:

• Eva Díaz López (exempt): failure to properly complete Annex I (general base 5.4) and failure to present a copy of the DNI (general base 6.a).
• Marcos Gómez Medin (not exempt): failure to properly complete Annex I (general base 5.4).
• Verónica-María Otero López (exempt): failure to properly complete Annex I (general base 5.4) and failure to present a copy of the DNI (general base 6.a).

Correction period

The publication of the provisional list opens a period of ten business days, counted from the day following its publication in the BOP of Lugo, for excluded persons to remedy the indicated deficiencies. The list is also published on the digital notice board, accessible through the municipal website (www.viveiro.es), on the municipal website, and on the physical notice board of the City Council.

No appeal may be filed against this resolution as it is a non-qualified procedural act; an appeal may be filed against the final list of admitted and excluded persons. The resolution was signed before the secretary, Ms. María Luz Balsa Rábade, for the purposes of article 3.2 of Royal Decree 128/2018.

The publication of this provisional list is a key step in the selection process to fill a technical urban planning position, of interest both to the applicants and to the citizens, who will see the municipal urban management service reinforced once the position is definitively resolved.
