Viveiro publishes the provisional list of admitted candidates for the statistics position

The Viveiro City Council has released the provisional list of admitted and excluded persons in the selection process for the permanent provision of a position as Statistics Administrative Assistant (RPT position SX6.4/037), via a competitive examination and open access system. The resolution, signed by the mayor-president Ms. María Carmen Gueimunde González on September 8, 2026, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 210, on Monday, September 14, 2026, under reference R. 2425.

The call and the regulatory bases were approved by the Mayor’s Office in Viveiro on July 14, 2026, and published in the BOP of Lugo on July 21, 2026 (no. 165). The process is part of the 2024 public employment offer, with the announcement also disseminated in the Official Gazette of Galicia (no. 143, July 31, 2026) and the Official State Gazette (no. 192, August 7, 2026), which set a deadline for the submission of applications of 20 business days.

Provisional list of admitted persons

The resolution approves the provisional list of 43 admitted persons, who are listed with an indication of whether or not they are exempt from taking the Galician language knowledge test. Among those admitted are, among others:

Excluded persons and reasons

The provisional list includes 7 excluded persons, with the reason for exclusion specified in each case, all of which are rectifiable:

• Abad Girón, Miriam — failure to properly complete Annex I (general base pt. 5.4)
• Aguiar Fernández, Tania — failure to properly complete Annex I (general base pt. 5.4)
• Álvarez Gómez, Raquel — failure to prove the required academic qualification (general bases pts. 2.4, 4 b and 6 b))
• Fernández López, Sonia — failure to prove the required academic qualification
• Moure López, Jennifer — failure to prove the required academic qualification
• Parrilla del Río, Lucía — failure to properly complete Annex I
• Ramos Siaba, María Magdalena — failure to properly complete Annex I

Rectification period

According to the provisions of general base 9.2, the publication of this provisional list opens a period of 10 business days to correct deficiencies, counted from the day following the publication in the BOP of Lugo. The list will also be disseminated on the digital notice board (www.viveiro.gal), on the municipal website, and on the City Council’s physical notice board.

No appeal may be filed against this resolution as it is a non-qualified procedural act; an appeal may be filed against the final list of admitted and excluded candidates. The resolution was issued by Ms. María Carmen Gueimunde González, with the intervention of the secretary Ms. María Luz Balsa Rábade.

The publication of this provisional list represents one more step in the selection process to permanently fill an administrative position in the statistics department of the Viveiro City Council, an open-access position that offers a stable public employment opportunity to applicants from the Mariña region.
