Viveiro publishes the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates

The Viveiro City Council publishes in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo on Saturday, August 29, 2026 (no. 197), the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates for the selective process for the permanent appointment to the position of “Legal Technician for Urban Planning, Department Director” (SX5.0/023). The resolution, signed by the mayor-president, Ms. María Carmen Gueimunde González, and attested by the secretary Ms. María Luz Balsa Rábade, corresponds to reference R. 2320.

The call, based on a competitive examination and open access system, is part of the public employment offer (OEP 2024) and was announced in the Official Gazette of Galicia on May 15, 2026 (no. 89) and in the Official State Gazette on July 17, 2026 (no. 173), which set the application deadline at 20 business days. The regulatory bases, approved by the Mayor’s Office on March 17, 2025, were published in the BOP of Lugo on March 23, 2026 (no. 66).

Admitted persons

The provisional list includes three admitted candidates, all of whom are exempt from taking the Galician language proficiency test:

• Aguiar Fernández Tania
• Braña Seijo Noemi
• Insua López Elena

Excluded persons and reasons

Three candidates appear as excluded, with exclusions that in all cases may be subject to correction:

• Díaz López Eva — failure to properly complete Annex I (general base pt. 5.4) and failure to present a copy of the DNI (general base pt. 6.a).
• Gómez Medin Marcos — failure to properly complete Annex I (general base pt. 5.4); a certified or authentic copy of the documentation must be presented during the correction period.
• Otero López Verónica-María — failure to properly complete Annex I (general base pt. 5.4) and failure to present a copy of the DNI (general base pt. 6.a).

Correction period

According to general base 9.2, excluded persons have a period of 10 business days starting from the day following the publication in the BOP of Lugo to remedy the indicated deficiencies. The provisional list will also be published on the digital notice board, on the municipal website (www.viveiro.es), and on the physical notice board of the City Council.

No appeal may be filed against this resolution as it is a non-qualified procedural act, although an appeal may be filed against the final list of admitted and excluded candidates.

The publication of this provisional list is a key step for the candidates and for the operation of the municipal urban planning department, as it determines who can continue in the selection process and who must correct their application before the final list becomes firm.
