Vitoria grants aid for acoustic insulation studies in the hospitality sector

The Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council has granted a total of 1,275.00 euros in subsidies intended to finance the performance of acoustic insulation studies in the city’s hospitality and nightlife establishments. The resolution, issued by the delegated councilor of the Department of City Model, Urbanism, Housing, Cleaning and Environment, is published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava (BOTHA) number 106, dated September 16, 2026, with reference 2026-02616.

The measure is part of the municipal policy for reconciliation between hospitality activity and neighborhood coexistence, and is financed through budget item 2026/022204.1711.78004/R. The decree was issued on May 19, 2026, and signed on September 8, 2026, by the mayor-president, Maider Etxebarria García.

Beneficiaries and amounts

The subsidy is distributed among four individuals and entities, whose individual amounts range between 317.50 and 322.50 euros:

The total amount granted amounts to 1,275.00 euros.

Purpose and scope of the aid

The purpose of the subsidy is to finance the performance of acoustic insulation studies in hospitality and nightlife establishments in Vitoria-Gasteiz, a key technical requirement to ensure that the activity does not cause nuisance to neighbors. The decree orders the payment of the amounts to the beneficiary individuals and entities charged to the aforementioned budget item, as well as the publication of the resolution in the BOTHA and on the City Council’s notice board, in addition to individual notification to each beneficiary.

Appeals and deadlines

The resolution ends the administrative route, therefore interested parties may file the following appeals:

• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Courts of Vitoria-Gasteiz, within a period of two months from its notification or publication.
• Optional appeal for reversal before the body that issued the act, within a period of one month, prior to the contentious-administrative appeal.
