The Youth Service of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council has resolved the call for grants for projects or services aimed at youth to be developed in 2026, with a total of 37,000.00 euros awarded to 16 projects. The resolution, signed on September 11, 2026, by the delegated councilwoman of the Department of the Mayor’s Office, Institutional Relations and Equality, Ana Rosa López de Uralde Gómez, is published in BOTHA number 113, of October 2, 2026, with the official reference 2026-02753.
The call was launched on April 20, 2026, and its guidelines were approved by the Local Government Board on March 13, 2026. Following the evaluation of the applications, the technical commission presented a proposed resolution in a report dated July 7, 2026. The procedure is governed by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, and the general municipal subsidy ordinance, published in BOTHA number 88 of July 28, 2023.
The approval of these grants is based on the agreement of the Local Government Board of May 16, 2025, which delegated to each departmental council the granting of subsidies for amounts equal to or less than 100,000.00 euros, and on the mayoral decree on the delegation of powers of June 22, 2023. The funds are charged to item 2026/0116 237148935 of the current expenditure budget.

Substitutes, rejected and non-admitted projects
The resolution approves an ordered list of substitutes in the event of any withdrawal. In first place is Euskar Abentura Elkartea (G95870523) with «Euskarabentura Espedizioa 2026», 50 points, which would receive an additional 1,510.48 euros, the difference between the 2,000 euros that would correspond to them and the 489.52 euros already granted.
No grant is awarded to two projects for not reaching the minimum required score of 50 points:
- Haz Kooperatiba Elkarte Txikia (F01587666): «Practicar la Txarla», 44 points, 2,800.00 euros requested.
- Asociación de tiempo libre Maranatha Teens Vitoria (G19492388): «Connecting youth 2026», 35 points, 1,500.00 euros requested.
Additionally, the “ZabalGaztea” project by Zabalgana Batuz Auzo Elkartea (G01452101) is not admitted, as it does not meet the requirement of being executed entirely in 2026, with 2,730.00 euros requested.
Notification, appeals, and publicity
The resolution concludes the administrative process and is notified to the interested entities through its publication in the BOTHA. A contentious-administrative appeal may be filed against it before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Vitoria-Gasteiz within two months from the day following the notification or publication.
Prior to this, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the body that issued the act, within a period of one month. Likewise, the information will be published in the national subsidies database, in accordance with Article 20 of Law 38/2003.
The distribution consolidates municipal support for the city’s youth associative fabric: fifteen different entities receive funding for activities related to participation, volunteering, culture, health, and social cohesion, with a ceiling of 3,000 euros per project and a minimum score of 50 points as the access threshold.
