Vinaròs puts out to tender the asphalt paving of the streets of Costa Norte

The Local Government Board of Vinaròs has approved the asphalt paving project for several streets in the Costa Norte area, with a tender budget of €517,300.77 (VAT included). The agreement, adopted at a session held on 24 July 2026, has been made public by means of a notice in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón number 96, of 11 August 2026, with reference 03457-2026.

The notice, electronically signed on 29 July 2026 by the mayoress of Vinaròs, Maria Dolores Miralles Mir, gives publicity to the approval of the project drafted following a prior municipal commission by Planifica Ingenieros y Arquitectos Coop. V. (F12963930). The technical document, dated July 2026, is signed by the architect Rafael A. Ibáñez Sánchez-Robles (Official College of Architects of the Valencian Community, no. 7,699) and by the public works engineer Víctor Monfort Centelles (member no. 25,071).

Project figures

The action, aimed at renewing the pavement of several roads in the Costa Norte settlement, begins with the approval of the project and its subsequent tendering:

• Contract execution budget, VAT excluded: €427,521.30.
• Tender budget with VAT included: €517,300.77.
• Project drafter: Planifica Ingenieros y Arquitectos Coop. V., following a prior municipal commission.
• Technical document signed in July 2026 by a chartered architect and a chartered public works engineer.

With this amount, the tender ranks as one of the highest-value actions among the notices published in issue number 96 of the provincial gazette, in a segment —urban pavement renewal— of direct interest to construction companies in the province.

Publication and administrative procedure

The agreement, which ends the administrative route, will be published in the Official Gazette of Castellón and, additionally, on the municipal notice board, through the town hall’s electronic headquarters, for general knowledge.

Against the resolution, the following may be lodged:

• An appeal for reconsideration, within one month from notification, before the mayoress, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
• An administrative contentious appeal, within two months, before the Administrative Contentious Court of Castellón, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/1998, of 13 July, regulating Administrative Contentious Jurisdiction.

Filing the optional appeal for reconsideration prevents recourse to the administrative contentious route until the former has been expressly resolved or deemed dismissed by silence.

Impact for the municipality

The resurfacing renovation in Costa Norte will improve the condition of the pavement and the safety of roads with heavy residential and beach-access traffic, especially during the summer season. For companies in the sector, the tender opens up a significant public procurement opportunity in the region, and for the city council, it represents a further step in the maintenance of the municipality’s urban road network.
