Vimianzo opens grants of 35,000 euros for school supplies

The Vimianzo City Council announces grants for the start of the 2026/2027 school year intended for students in the second cycle of early childhood education, primary, compulsory secondary education, baccalaureate, and intermediate and higher vocational training cycles. The extract of the call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 162, dated August 26, 2026, under announcement number 2026/5565.

The call, signed by Mayor Mónica Rodríguez Ordóñez on August 21, 2026, has a total budget of 35,000 euros and is aimed at supporting families with per capita incomes lower than 9,000 euros per year. Beneficiaries and requirements

Grants may be requested by the fathers, mothers, or legal guardians of students registered in the municipality of Vimianzo with at least three months of seniority on the date of publication of the call. Minors must be enrolled in a public center for the 2026/2027 course and be studying in one of the stages included in the call.

The global amount of the call is 35,000 euros for the entire line of grants. The regulatory bases were approved by the Local Government Board on August 17, 2026, and will be available on the notice board of the electronic headquarters of the council’s website.
