Villarrobledo approves its 2026 workforce plan with four new positions

The Villarrobledo City Council has finalized the modification of its civil service and labor staff establishment for the 2026 fiscal year, an operation that creates four positions and renames five caregiver posts. The agreement was initially approved by the municipal Plenary in an ordinary session on July 13, 2026, and is now published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete number 108, dated September 16, 2026, under official reference 23.140.

The processing has complied with the provisions of Article 169 of the consolidated text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, and Article 20 of Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20. The modification was open to the public via an announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete number 87, dated July 29, 2026, for a period of fifteen business days, during which no claims were filed against it.

As no allegations were registered, the modification has been finalized and will enter into force in the fiscal year to which it refers, once the provisions of Article 112.3 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and Article 169 of the consolidated text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries have been met.

Four newly created positions

The list of job positions incorporates four posts, with the following classification:

• Childcare Technician: one position, group A2/C1, level 20, position code 94.
• Sports Monitor–SOS: one position, group C1/C2, level 15, position code 68.
• Administrative Management/Citizen Service Assistant: one position, group C2, level 15, position code 12.
• Elderly Housing Assistant: one position, group C2/OAP, level 13, position code 15.

Five caregivers change designation

The modification also affects five existing positions, which are renamed without altering their classification:

• Previous designation: Caregiver/Co-responsible Plan, five positions, group C2, level 14, position code 114.
• New designation: Multipurpose Dynamic Caregiver, five positions, group C2, level 14, position code 114.

Deadline for appeal

A contentious-administrative appeal may be filed against the final approval before the Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Castilla-La Mancha within two months starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete.

The staff update establishes the job map of the Villarrobledo City Council for all of 2026 and reinforces sensitive areas such as childcare, sports, citizen services, and support for the elderly. As this is a final approval without claims, the council is authorized to fill the new positions and consolidate the new designation of caregiver roles, effective from the current fiscal year.
