Villaquilambre publica la lista definitiva de 24 admitidos para Técnico Informático

The Villaquilambre City Council has approved the final list of admitted and excluded candidates for the position of IT Technician and has established the employment pool for Sports Technician, in two Mayoral resolutions dated November 3, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León, no. 210, on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Applicants are now aware of their status prior to the tests: 24 people are listed as admitted and 14 remain excluded from the process. The Sports pool consists of three applicants ordered by score.

The first of the resolutions is 2026/2797, of November 3, 2026, which approves the final list for the provision, via open competition, of one permanent civil servant position as IT Technician for the Villaquilambre City Council. The announcement, reference BOP-LE-2026-210020, is published on pages 59 to 61 of the provincial gazette and includes the complete list of admitted and excluded candidates as an annex.

The resolution is not limited to publishing the list: it also resolves the appeals submitted during the correction period. Specifically, the documents registered under numbers RE-4941, RE-5044, RE-5037, and RE-5279, in which the interested parties had filed an administrative appeal, are dismissed, and their exclusion is confirmed for failing to prove qualifications in accordance with Base 5.1 e) of the call.

Twenty-four admitted for a single position

The annex of announcement BOP-LE-2026-210020 identifies the 24 applicants admitted to the process, including Mario Alonso González, Carlos Herrero Morán, David Fernando Feo Ferreira, Marino Arias Curto, José Manuel Alonso Pozas, Rubén García Reyero, Jorge González Fernández, Roberto García Soto, Boris Pérez Fernández, Víctor Gutiérrez Gómez, Jesús Esteban Garrido, Ángel Barrientos Simo, Israel Vidal Suárez, Jonathan Merino Pintado, Joel Álvarez Varela, Alejandro de la Huerga Fernández, Alejandro Prieto Pellitero, José Domínguez Delgado, Jorge García Álvarez, David Ramos Seca, Julio González Muñiz, Lucía Zurdo Sierra, Víctor Manuel Bartolomé Cuevas, and Elsa Blanco Rodrigo.

The excluded section lists 14 people, along with the specific cause for each:

  • Lack of qualification according to Base 5.1 e): María Rodríguez Rodríguez, David Álvarez Reñones, Luis Miguel Torrealba Rolo, María Herrero-Beaumont Sánchez, Ricardo Díaz Núñez, Álvaro Gutiérrez Olle, David Escudero García and José Luis Blanco Moro.
  • Lack of proof of fee payment: Sergio Varona Madrid, José Manuel Suárez González and José Antonio Ibáñez Robles.
  • Lack of proof of discounted fee payment: Ricardo del Río García and Lester Bienvenido Agramonte Guerrero.
  • Both reasons —fee and qualification—: Sohany Atiyeh.

Three candidates in the Sports Technician pool

The second resolution, 2026/2795, also dated November 3, 2026, constitutes the employment pool for the position of Sports Technician following the stabilization process derived from provisions 6 and 8 of Law 20/2021, on urgent measures for the reduction of temporary employment in the public sector. The announcement is published under reference BOP-LE-2026-210019, on page 58 of the bulletin.

The order of the pool, established in accordance with the proposal of the selection board (Annex III) and the board’s resolution dated April 10, 2024, is as follows:

  • First place: Francisco Javier Meana Busto.
  • Second place: Raúl Alonso Curto.
  • Third place: Celia Matías Ruano.

According to Base Fourteen of the call, this pool may be used for appointment as interim civil service personnel or for hiring as temporary labor personnel in the category of the positions subject to the call.

One month to appeal

Both resolutions exhaust the administrative route. Interested parties may file an optional appeal for reversal before the same body that issued them within one month from the day following their publication, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, or go directly to the contentious-administrative route within two months before the Contentious-Administrative Court of León, according to Law 29/1998. The resolutions are also published on the municipal notice board and on the electronic headquarters of the Villaquilambre City Council, and are signed by the mayor, Vicente Álvarez Florez.

The announcement closes the admission phase of a unique process: a single IT position for which 24 candidates applied and from which 14 people are excluded, mostly for failing to prove the required qualification. For the admitted candidates, the publication marks the effective start of the tests; for those excluded, it opens the calculation of the appeal deadlines, which should be monitored because any option to rejoin the process depends on them.
