The approval was adopted by agreement of the Plenary session held on September 1, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz, number 171, dated September 7, 2026 (Announcement 3515/2026).

The plan had been favorably reported by the Permanent Civil Protection Commission of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura in a session held on August 5, 2026, a prerequisite for its entry into force.
