Villafuertes leases 22 rustic farms by lots for five agricultural campaigns

The Villafuertes Neighborhood Council has approved the leasing of 22 rural properties under its ownership in independent lots for agricultural use, through an open procedure. The plenary agreement of September 2, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos no. 183, dated September 25, 2026 (reference BOPBUR-2026-03863), with a base tender budget of 15,344.10 euros.

The announcement, signed by Mayor Julio César Martínez in Villangómez on September 7, 2026, develops the clauses of file 17/2026, processed by the Secretariat of the minor local entity. The plots are classified as patrimonial assets and are offered under a lease agreement for five agricultural campaigns, corresponding to 2026-27, 2027-28, 2028-29, 2029-30, and 2030-31.

Together, they total slightly more than 22.7 hectares of surface area, and their starting prices reach 3,068.82 euros per campaign, a figure which, multiplied by the five years of the contract, results in the published base budget. The cheapest plot is 781, in the area of Las Largas, with 0.270 hectares and a starting price of 36.45 euros; the most expensive is 746, in Castillejo, with 2.400 hectares and 324.00 euros.

Deadlines, guarantees, and award criteria

The processing is ordinary and the procedure is open. No provisional guarantee is required, and the sole evaluation criterion for the offers is the rent—that is, the highest price offered for each lot.

The deadline for submitting proposals is seven calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the tender notice on the city council’s contractor profile. The notice is also disseminated in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, and the documentation and information may be obtained until the final day of submission.

Where and how to submit offers

Bidders must deliver two envelopes:

• Envelope A, administrative documentation (Annex I): documents proving the legal personality of the entrepreneur and, where applicable, representation, along with a responsible declaration of not being subject to the prohibition of contracting.
• Envelope B, economic offer (Annex II).

Submission takes place at the offices of the Villangómez City Council, Plaza El Puente no. 1, 09339 Villangómez, and in the places provided for in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The opening of envelopes “A” and “B” will be carried out after the submission deadline has ended, in accordance with the specifications.

The operation is of direct interest to farmers and livestock breeders in the region, who may bid for individual plots without needing to take on the entire set: the division into 22 independent lots and the absence of a provisional guarantee lower the barrier to entry, while the duration of five campaigns provides stability for those seeking forage or arable land in the terms of Prau Mata, Carrasco, and Castillejo, which are the most significant parts of the offer.
