Villadiego cedes a plot of land to Health for the future health center

The Villadiego City Council has initially approved, by agreement of the Plenary on August 12, 2026, the file for the free transfer to the Regional Health Management of Castilla y León of a plot of 5,315 m² intended for the construction of the municipality’s future health center. The decision is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 159, dated August 24, 2026, with reference BOPBUR-2026-03536.

The transferred asset is a piece of urban land, free of buildings and without charges or encumbrances, whose use is established as healthcare facilities. With this operation, the council provides the public health system with the land necessary for an infrastructure considered key for the municipality and its region.

Characteristics of the transferred asset

The plot, identified with cadastral references 280903VN1078S0001TG and 280903VN1078S0000RF, is located within the scope of the AR of Partial Plan PP-5 number 10. Its main technical characteristics are:

• Surface area: 5,315 m² of urban land, following the approval of the modification of the NNSS.
• Buildability coefficient: less than 2.50 m²/m².
• Use: healthcare facilities.
• Status: plot free of buildings.
• Charges: no charges or encumbrances.
• Purpose: plot for the construction of the health center.

Public information process

In accordance with Article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, in relation to Article 110.1.f of the Regulations on Assets of Local Entities, approved by Royal Decree 1372/1986, of June 13, a public information process is opened for a period of twenty days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the gazette.

During this period, any natural or legal person may examine the file, and those who consider themselves interested parties may appear and submit allegations, suggestions, or claims. The file will be available to interested parties on the city council’s electronic headquarters, at the addresses https://villadiego.es and https://villadiegosedelectronica.es.

Relevance for the municipality

The free transfer of the plot represents a decisive step in providing Villadiego and its region with a modern health center, a long-standing healthcare demand. As it is a transfer without financial consideration, the city council facilitates public investment in healthcare infrastructure at no cost to the municipal coffers, and the agreement is now subject to citizen participation before its final approval.
