Villa del Río approves extraordinary credit of 38,900 euros in investments

Por FactBox Admin

The Villa del Río City Council has definitively approved an extraordinary credit of 38,900 euros destined for real investments, as stated in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 170, dated September 2, 2026 (p. 12828). The decision, adopted in a plenary session on July 28, 2026, was processed through file no. 10/2026 and is financed through the reduction of credits from other uncommitted expenditure applications.

The publication is carried out in accordance with articles 169 and 177.2 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, which approves the revised text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries. The initial agreement adopted by the Corporation has become definitive as no allegations were presented during the public exhibition period.

Details of the budget modification

The extraordinary credit is structured entirely within Chapter VI of the municipal budget, dedicated to real investments, for a total amount of 38,900 euros. The operation does not represent a net increase in municipal spending, as it is offset by the reduction of credits from another uncommitted expenditure application, also for 38,900 euros within the same chapter.

  • Chapter VI – Real investments (increase): 38,900 €
  • Chapter VI – Real investments (decrease): 38,900 €

This reorientation of spending reveals the governing team’s desire to prioritize certain investments within the same budget year, without resorting to debt or higher revenues.

Processing and signature

The agreement was adopted in a session on July 28, 2026, and the document was electronically signed by the mayor-president, Jesús Morales Molina, in Villa del Río on August 25, 2026. The text is associated with a Secure Verification Code (CSV) that guarantees its authenticity and integrity as an electronic copy of the original digitized document.

The official reference of the announcement is BOP-A-2026-2991, published in the Local Administration section of the provincial gazette.

Relevance for residents

The approval of this extraordinary credit allows the Villa del Río City Council to execute real investments within the 2026 fiscal year without altering the budgetary balance, as it is financed by the reduction of other uncommitted items. For residents, it provides a guarantee that municipal resources are being reoriented toward specific investment actions, with full transparency in their processing and official publication.
