Vilamalla, as an interim architect of the Superior Body, was appointed by urgency

The Vilamalla City Council has appointed Mr. Sergi Serra Llosa via emergency procedure as an interim civil servant to fill the vacant position of Architect of the Superior Body, after the selection process convened to fill it remained vacant. The decision, adopted by Mayoral Decree no. 2026DECR000592 dated August 14, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (no. 163, of August 25, 2026, edict 7566, CVE BOP-2026_0_163_7566).

The direct and urgent appointment responds to the need to guarantee the normal provision of the municipality’s urban planning services, which were affected by the vacancy. The position corresponds to group A, subgroup A1, Special Administration scale, technical services subscale, and is filled as a substitute for the permanent holder.

According to the announcement, an attempt was made to fill the position through a public call and a selection process, but it remained vacant.
