Vilalba announces five positions for the Terra Chá dual workshop in Camiño VI

The Vilalba City Council, in partnership with the Abadín City Council, announces five staff positions for the Terra Chá Dual Employment Workshop on the Way VI, the second call for the 2026-2027 period. The regulatory bases were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo no. 219, on September 24, 2026, with official reference R. 2551 and file number 4348/2026. The deadline for submitting applications is five calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement.

The call is motivated by the execution of a program of a temporary nature and determined duration, under article 10.1.c) of the Recast Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee (TREBEP). The project is subsidized by the Ministry of Employment, Trade and Emigration of the Xunta de Galicia, in accordance with the Order of November 14, 2025 (DOG no. 228) and its modification by the Order of May 12, 2026 (DOG no. 96). The selected individuals will be appointed as interim civil servants of the Vilalba City Council, with a legal relationship of nine months and 1,440 total execution hours, full-time. The bases bear the signature of the councilor delegated in personnel matters, Eduardo Vidal Baamonde, in Vilalba on September 21, 2026.

The five announced positions

• 1 Director, classified in Group A, subgroups A1/A2, with an official university degree in Bachelor’s, Licentiate, Diploma, Engineering, or Architecture.
• 3 Teacher-Monitors, in Group A (subgroup A2) or Group C (subgroup C1).
• 1 Support Staff / Administrative, in Group C, subgroups C1/C2, with a qualification as a Technician in Administration, Baccalaureate, ESO, or equivalent.

The remuneration will be those fixed in the tables of the Vilalba City Council for each group and subgroup, charged to Module A of the program (salary costs and Social Security contributions).

Training specialties and work destinations

The three teaching positions correspond to as many specialties, with specific actions in the two municipalities of the partnership:

• AGAO0208, installation and maintenance of gardens and green areas, with work in the squares, urban parks, and river surroundings of Vilalba.
• EOCB0209, auxiliary operations for rigid finishes and urbanization, linked to the construction of the parking lot on a newly opened street in Abadín.
• ADGG0508, recording and processing operations for data and documents, applied to the organization, classification, and digitalization service of the Municipal Archive of the Vilalba City Council.

Selection process, requirements, and deadlines

The selection system is that of a competitive examination (concurso-oposición), with a maximum of 100 points divided into three phases: personal interview (up to 20 points), merit scale (up to 30), and aptitude and knowledge test (up to 50). The written test will consist of a multiple-choice questionnaire of 20 questions with four alternatives, lasting thirty minutes, and a minimum of ten points to avoid elimination.

Among the requirements, it is demanded to be registered in the Galician Public Employment Service (SPEG) as an unemployed job seeker available for employment, as well as to accredit the level of Galician through the CELGA 4 (subgroups A1, A2, and C1) or the CELGA 3 (subgroup C2). The hiring of teaching staff is subject to the prior technical validation of the file by the Employment Training and Qualification Service of the Territorial Department of the Xunta de Galicia in Lugo, in accordance with article 168 of Royal Decree 659/2023. The management team and at least one teacher per specialty must be registered in the FORMAN application five days before the actual start of the workshop.

• Deadline: five calendar days from the day following the publication in the BOP of Lugo.
• Form: standardized official application from Annex I, available on the electronic office and in municipal offices.
• Channels: in person at the General Registry of the Vilalba City Council or by electronic means through https://vilalba.sedelectronica.es.
• Format: electronic documentation must be submitted in unalterable and legible PDF.

The publication of this call opens a temporary public employment route in the Terra Chá region, with an offer that combines management, teaching, and administrative support, and is supported by regional funds for professional training and qualification. For the residents of Vilalba and Abadín registered as job seekers, the deadline of five calendar days is particularly tight, therefore the submission of the application within this interval is decisive to compete in the process.
