Vilabella presents the municipal swimming pool improvement project to the public

The Vilabella City Council has initially approved the project for the repair and improvement of the municipal swimming pool, with a budget of 160,996.18 euros plus VAT, and has submitted it for public review for a period of thirty business days. The agreement is contained in Mayoral Resolution 2026-0000200, dated October 23, 2026, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on October 27, 2026, with the reference CVE 2026-09964 on page 1-1.

The official document collects two agreements in a single announcement. The first is the initial approval of the technical project; the second is its submission for public review, via an announcement in the provincial gazette and on the municipal electronic office, so that interested parties may present any claims and allegations they deem appropriate. The double publication —in the provincial gazette and on the municipal web portal— is the mechanism that guarantees access to the project for those who cannot travel to the municipal facilities.

Signature, body, and scope of the procedure

The initial approval corresponds to the mayor’s office, which formalizes it by numbered resolution, in this case 2026-0000200, dated October 23, 2026. The publication in the provincial gazette arrives four days later, on October 27, and the digital signature of the secretary is from October 26 at 09:03 hours, according to the validation accompanying the document.

The announcement is a procedural formality: it certifies that the project exists, that it has a calculated cost, and that it is open to public scrutiny before the processing continues. The text does not include any bidding calendar or any reference to a start date for the works at the sports facility.

For the residents of Vilabella, the news has a dual meaning: the municipal pool is a collective-use facility and its renovation directly affects the municipality’s summer leisure and recreation offerings, but at the same time, the open procedure provides thirty business days to review the project and discuss its technical solutions or the amount before it becomes final.
