Ávila publishes the final list and calls for the exam for twelve administrative assistants

The Ávila City Council has finalized the list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process to permanently fill twelve positions for General Administration Clerk, vacant within the civil service staff and included in the Public Employment Offer for the 2025 and 2026 fiscal years. The resolution, issued by the Deputy Mayor’s Office by delegation of the mayor, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila on September 17, 2026, under number 1847/26. The first multiple-choice exam will be held on September 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Lienzo Norte Exhibition and Congress Center in the capital.

The call for applications is governed by the rules approved alongside the employment offer and by Rule Four, which regulates the resolution of claims. The provisional list was published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 150, dated August 6, 2026, and the period for filing claims has already expired. The resolution exhausts the administrative route and affects several hundred candidates divided between the open category and the disability category.

Rectifications, corrections, and exclusions

After granting the claims submitted in a timely and proper manner, the defects in the open category applications of dozens of applicants are considered rectified, including Álvaro Aboín Sierra, Elena Ahijado Dochado, Alba Alcázar Quirós, Carolina Alonso Alonso, Sara Carrasco Gómez, M. Jesús Castrillo González, Elisa de Pedraza Fernández del Pino, Víctor del Dedo González, David del Nogal Jiménez, and Clara Isabel Díaz Hernández, in addition to the other applicants listed in the announcement.

• Disability category: rectifications are admitted for Jacqueline Alañón Schultz, María Isabel Barros Marugán, Jorge Luis Bibolotti Ramírez, Rosa María Cuadrado Díez, Elena de la Paz Cembellín, Rodrigo Dosuna Hernández, Ernesto Fernández Jiménez, M. Teresa Jiménez Manzanas, Teresa Martín de Lama, M. Dolores Martínez Cano, Ana Isabel Nieto HerrÁez, Antonio Sanchidrián Muñoz, and Ana Yagüe Sanz.
• Admitted under disability without IMSERSO certification: their participation is accepted, provided they are required to present the compatibility certification throughout the process, including Marta Almaraz Aranda, María Belén Álvarez-Candil García, Beatriz Arrabal García, Álvaro Bravo Gutiérrez, Raquel Caro Belda, Begoña Curto Sánchez, and Alfonso de Miguel Pastor.
• Correction of material errors: Lucía Muñoz de Francisco, David Rodrigues Muñoz, and Isabel Sigelakis Yuste.
• Claims dismissed due to late submission: Moisés Manuel Ramírez Mateo, Aroa Vegas González, and Ana Isabel Tardón López.

Qualifying Board and calendar

The resolution designates the Qualifying Board. It will be chaired by Jesús M.ª Sanchidrián Gallego, from the Ávila City Council, with Juan Simón Rodríguez Campo, from the Territorial Delegation of the Junta de Castilla y León, and José Manuel Izquierdo Martín, Andrés Rodríguez Huesca, and Marta Jiménez Martín as members; Pedro Agustín Serrano Gregorio will act as secretary. The alternates are Arturo Barral Santiago (president), David Rodríguez Cenalmor, José Miguel Álvarez Martín, Justina Blanco Sánchez, and Beatriz Marcos Pérez (members), and Rubén Rodríguez Nieto (secretary).

The selection body is classified in the THIRD category for attendance compensation purposes, in accordance with Article 29 of Royal Decree 462/2002, of May 24. The first test will be held in a single call for all applicants, with the call at 5:00 PM from the indicated entrances.

• Exhibition Hall Entrance, disability shift: from Alañón Schultz, Jacqueline to Yuste López, María José.
• Main Entrance, open shift: from Llorente García, Vanesa María to Zazo Sánchez, Raquel.

Applicants must bring a blue or black pen and an official identity document. The complete lists are posted on the notice board at sede.avila.es and on www.avila.es.

Anti-cheating controls and appeals regime

During the test, it is strictly forbidden to carry or use mobile phones, smartwatches, headphones, micro-earpieces or “invisible” earpieces, smart glasses, tablets, and any electronic device for storage, communication, or data reception, even in airplane mode and with wifi turned off. Controls will be carried out using technical means for the detection of devices and signals, performed at the entrances and during the exercise by Local Police officers in collaboration with the Board.

Devices necessary for health reasons, such as hearing aids, implants, or other medical devices, are exempt; their necessity must be proven with medical documentation and communicated to the Board before the start. The possession, use, or concealment of unauthorized devices, or any action aimed at evading controls, may result in the annulment of the exercise and exclusion from the process.

Against the agreement, which exhausts the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Mayor’s Office-Presidency within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Ávila within two months, in accordance with Law 29/1998, of July 13. The resolution was signed in Ávila on September 14, 2026, by the delegated councilor, Héctor Sastre Díaz.

The publication closes the claims phase and starts the countdown for the candidates: in twelve days, they will compete for access to one of the twelve administrative positions, with a single exam and a security protocol that tightens the conditions of the test.
