Ávila displays the water registry for the third quarter of 2026

Por FactBox Admin

The Ávila City Council has announced the public exhibition of the register of quarterly invoices for the non-tax public heritage benefit for water supply, sewerage, and purification services corresponding to the third quarter of 2026 (Zone 2). The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila number 163, dated August 25, 2026, under number 1731/26.

The register may be consulted for one month at the offices of the City Council’s Economic Services, starting from the beginning of the collection period. The document was signed on August 20, 2026, by the Deputy Mayor for Local Administration, Human Resources, Treasury, European Funds, and Digitalization, Ángela García Almeida.

Collection period and payment method

The collection period runs from August 28, 2026, to October 28, 2026, both inclusive. During this period, users may pay the fees by presenting the payment notices sent to their homes by the concessionaire company at the banking entities listed therein.

  • Payment is made using the payment notices sent by the concessionaire to each home.
  • If the bill is set up for direct debit, the charge will be processed through the corresponding banking entity.
  • Those who have not received the notice must appear in person before October 28, 2026, to clarify their situation.

Concessionaire management

The management of the service corresponds to the concessionaire company Aqualia S.A., whose offices are located at Plaza de la Catedral, 11, Ávila. In the event of any discrepancy in the application of tariffs, users may file a claim with the concessionaire itself, without prejudice to the exercise of any other actions they deem appropriate.

The exhibition of the register allows taxpayers to verify their data and fees before making payment, guaranteeing the transparency of the collection process for the municipal water service.

Relevance for residents

The announcement affects all users of Zone 2 of the water service in the capital of Ávila, who must be attentive to the receipt of their payment notices and the two-month deadline to regularize their situation. Failure to receive the bill does not exempt the user from the obligation to appear before the concessionaire before the end of the period; therefore, taxpayers are recommended to verify their direct debit status and contact details.
