Vigo: owners are summoned to the preliminary proceedings for electrical expropriation

The Territorial Department of Pontevedra, of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Xunta de Galicia, has summoned the owners and rights holders affected by the electrical installation LMTS GON806 and BAL708, CS and the replacement of supports 9SRMLCJX//D56 and 9SPJIALL/D57, in the municipality of Vigo, for the drafting of the minutes prior to the occupation of their assets. The act will take place on-site on November 13, 2026, starting at 12:00 p.m., according to the resolution of August 25, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (no. 167, of September 1, 2026).

The installation was declared of public utility by resolution of August 6, 2026, from the same department, which implies the urgent occupation of the affected assets and rights. The beneficiary of file IN407A 2023/086-4 is the company UFD Distribución Electricidad, S.A., which assumes the execution of the electrical line.

Legal framework and procedure

The summons is based on Article 52 of the Forced Expropriation Law and Article 56.1 of Law 24/2013, of December 26, of the electricity sector, which regulate the drafting of the minutes prior to occupation as a preliminary step to taking possession of the land. The list of affected properties is displayed along with the resolution and on the notice board of the Vigo city council.

Each interested person will receive an individual notification with the due legal notice, informing them of the date and time they must appear at their property. Affected parties may be accompanied by an expert or a notary, at their own expense, if they deem it appropriate.

Affected properties

The annex to the resolution lists the properties subject to occupation, all located in the place of Ermida, in Vigo:

• Property 1 — cadastral reference 54057A126001230000BB, unknown owner, affects a transformation center (CT) with 13.77 m² of surface, 8.15 lm of subsoil and 35.22 m² of subsoil.
• Property 2 — cadastral reference 54057A126001170000BH, owner María Divina Alonso Rial, affects support 1 with 1.69 m² of surface.

Unknown owners

When the owners or rights holders of the affected properties are unknown or the place of notification is ignored, the proceedings that occur will be addressed to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in accordance with Article 5 of the Forced Expropriation Law. In such cases, and according to Article 44 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the common administrative procedure, an announcement will also be published on the single notice board (TEU) of the Official State Gazette.

The resolution is signed by the territorial director of Pontevedra, Beatriz López del Olmo, and represents a decisive step for the execution of an electrical distribution infrastructure in the olive city, which directly affects the owners of the involved lands and which, once the occupation is completed, will allow progress in the modernization of the electrical supply network in the area.
