Viborg court declares Lundsby Renewable Solutions bankrupt; creditors have four weeks
Por FactBox Admin

Retten i Viborg has taken the North Jutland energy company Lundsby Renewable Solutions A/S under bankruptcy proceedings by decree dated 6 October 2026, acting on a petition received on 5 October 2026. The ruling, registered as case SKS 5-348/2026, was published in Statstidende on 8 October 2026 in the bankruptcy notices section. Creditors now have four weeks from the announcement to submit their claims to the appointed trustee.
The debtor is Lundsby Renewable Solutions A/S, a company registered in Denmark under CVR-nr. 13898588 and with its registered address at Hjarbækvej 65, 8831 Løgstrup. The insolvency was declared by the probate court (skifteret) of Retten i Viborg, which issued the decree on 6 October 2026 and dated the announcement the same day. The proceedings were opened after a bankruptcy petition was filed against the company on 5 October 2026.
The announcement sets out the formal framework that now applies to the estate and to everyone with a financial interest in it. The court has appointed a trustee to administer the estate, and the notice fixes two separate deadlines: one for creditors to register their claims, and one for parties wishing to influence the choice of trustee and the composition of a creditors’ committee. Both deadlines run from the date of publication in Statstidende.
The trustee appointed to the estate
Advokat Henrik Steen Jensen, Hans Broges Gade 2, 8000 Århus C, has been appointed trustee (kurator) of the bankruptcy estate. All claims and enquiries concerning the estate are to be directed to him at that address. The notice identifies the court handling the case as the probate division of Retten i Viborg, which issued the decree.
Deadlines for creditors and for the election of a trustee
The notice calls on anyone holding a claim or other right against the debtor to report it to the trustee within four weeks of the announcement. The key requirements are:
- Claims must be calculated as at 6 October 2026.
- The report should be accompanied by documentation supporting the claim.
- The four-week deadline runs from publication of the announcement in Statstidende on 8 October 2026.
- Any request for the election of a trustee and of a creditors’ committee must be submitted in writing to the probate court no later than three weeks after the announcement.
What the ruling means for the company
The decree places Lundsby Renewable Solutions A/S under formal bankruptcy administration, transferring control of the estate’s affairs to the trustee. The company’s registered office in Løgstrup, in the Viborg area of North Jutland, is the address recorded in the notice, and the case is registered under SKS 5-348/2026 alongside the company’s CVR-nr. 13898588. The announcement was issued by Retten i Viborg on 6 October 2026.
For creditors, suppliers and former employees of Lundsby Renewable Solutions A/S, the publication starts a fixed procedural clock: claims not filed with the trustee within four weeks risk being left out of the estate’s distribution. The three-week window for requesting an election of trustee and creditors’ committee gives creditors a brief opportunity to influence who administers the estate. The case remains before the probate division of Retten i Viborg under SKS 5-348/2026.
