Viana do Bolo approves 40,725 euros in nominative grants for 2026

The City Council of Viana do Bolo has definitively approved the annex of nominative subsidies of the general municipal budget for the 2026 financial year, a distribution totaling 40,725.00 euros among the municipality’s associative fabric. The initial agreement was adopted by the Plenary in an extraordinary session held on July 31, 2026, and became definitive as no claims were filed. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on November 5, 2026, in section IV of local entities, with the official reference R. 2.560.

From the plenary agreement to definitive approval

The file was submitted for public information through an announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense number 158, dated August 20, 2026, and on the notice board of the municipal electronic headquarters, with a period of fifteen business days. Upon the expiration of this period without allegations or claims, the initial approval was automatically elevated to definitive, as provided for in the plenary agreement itself.

The annex is effective exclusively for the 2026 economic year, without prejudice to the validity of the extended general municipal budget and subsequent granting resolutions or agreements that must be formalized with each beneficiary entity, in accordance with Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies. The approval does not modify the credits allocated in the extended budget and is limited to the annual programming of nominative aid. The document is signed by the mayor, Graciela Diéguez Rodríguez, in Viana do Bolo on October 22, 2026.

Sport accounts for nearly half of the distribution

Subsidies to sports entities are the largest block in terms of amount, with 19,500.00 euros in total, distributed among four recipients:

• Club Deportivo Viana: 9,500.00 euros, the largest individual grant in the entire annex.
• Asociación Deportiva Intermunicipal Vianariño F.S.: 6,000.00 euros.
• Club Náutico Vianés: 3,000.00 euros.
• Club de Bolos Punxeiro: 1,000.00 euros.

Likewise, aid to cultural associations totals 9,225.00 euros and reaches nine entities:

• Asociación Mulleres Rurais: 1,900.00 euros.
• Coral Polifónica Candea: 2,050.00 euros.
• Asociación San Adrián (Solveira): 1,200.00 euros.
• Asociación Candea: 1,000.00 euros.
• Teatro Candea: 950.00 euros.
• Asociación de Veciños do Cabo da Vila: 850.00 euros.
• Sofá Malva de la Sala Rosa: 475.00 euros.
• Asociación ANPA: 400.00 euros.
• Asociación ANPA IES Casares: 400.00 euros.

Carnival, the main grassroots mobilizer

The Carnival block is endowed with 11,000.00 euros and has a clearly different structure: the majority are grants of 400.00 euros to each of the fifteen fulións of the municipality, to which a grant of 5,000.00 euros to the Asociación Robreda is added. The beneficiary fulións are:

• Fulión de Penouta e Ramilo, Fulión de Quintela de Edroso, Fulión de Santa Mariña and Fulión de Punxeiro.
• Fulión de Quintela do Pando, Fulión de Bembibre, Fulión de Fradelo and Fulión de Grixoa.
• Fulión de Vilarmeu, Fulión de Fornelos de Cova, Fulión de Fornelos de Filloás and Fulión de Buxán.
• Fulión As Carrelas, Fulión do Cabo da Vila and Fulión Alternativo.

The last group is for social promotion, with a single recipient: Cruz Roja Viana Conso Frieiras, which receives 1,000.00 euros.

Impact on the local associative fabric

The publication of the specific amount allows the associations and clubs of Viana do Bolo to know exactly the funds that correspond to them throughout 2026. The concentration of aid in sports and Entroido reflects the priorities of the extended municipal budget, while the funding of the local Red Cross Federation covers the area of social promotion.
