Vialidad tenders the design of the La Puntilla bridge in Lolol

The Road Directorate of the Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins Region has called for a public tender for the engineering study intended for the construction of the La Puntilla bridge, on road I-570 in the commune of Lolol. The notice was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile No. 44,553, on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in Section IV, under the official reference CVE 2871846. Technical and economic bids must be submitted no later than October 14, 2026, at 11:00 PM.

The call is issued by the Ministry of Public Works, through the Undersecretariat of Public Works and the regional Road Directorate, and is channeled through the electronic platform www.mercadopublico.cl. The tender is internally identified by SAFI 430001, Sectoral ID No. 2262-11-O126, and Client Code 730. A 60-meter bridge on road I-570

The object of the contract is to carry out the detailed engineering design that allows for the construction of the La Puntilla bridge, located on road I-570 in the commune of Lolol, with an approximate length of 60 meters. Therefore, this is a preliminary study and not the material execution of the work.

The contracting will be governed by the unit price series system with CPI adjustment, and the execution period set in the terms is 630 days. The official budget is not published in the notice: it will be disclosed during the economic opening act.

Requirements for contractors registered in the MOP Registry

To participate, interested companies must meet two conditions:

• Download the tender documents from the website www.mercadopublico.cl, starting from the publication of the notice.
• Have a current registration in the MOP Contractors Registry, in the required specialties and categories.

The technical requirements are as follows:

• Area: Civil Engineering.
• Specialty: Road Works (4.9).
• Category: First or Superior.
