Valsequillo aprueba inicialmente su ordenanza de convivencia ciudadana

The Valsequillo City Council has initially approved the Municipal Ordinance on the Protection of Citizen Coexistence, a text that will regulate the use of public spaces and the conduct of residents within the municipality. The decision was adopted by Plenary Agreement on September 1, 2026, and has been published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, number 176, dated September 11, 2026, page 13050, with the official reference BOP-A-2026-3033.

Regulatory Framework

The processing is supported by articles 49 and 70.2 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and article 56 of the Recast Text of the Local Regime. In accordance with this framework, the initial approval is now subject to a public information process so that any interested party may examine the text and submit allegations before its final approval.

Public Information Period and Allegations

The file will be available for thirty days, counting from the day following the insertion of the announcement in the official gazette. During this period, the text may be consulted by any interested party at the municipal offices and on the City Council’s Electronic Notice Board, available on the municipality’s electronic headquarters.

  • Period for allegations: 30 days from the day following publication.
  • In-person consultation: municipal offices of the Valsequillo City Council.
  • Online consultation: Electronic Notice Board (sede.eprinsa.es/valsequi/tablon-de-edictos).

Final Approval

If no claims are submitted within the aforementioned period, the agreement to approve the ordinance will be understood as definitively approved without the need for further processing. Otherwise, the submitted allegations must be resolved before the final approval of the text.

The ordinance, signed by Mayor Ana María Sánchez Rosa, will affect the coexistence and the sanctioning regime of all residents of Valsequillo, therefore its content is of direct interest to the citizens of the municipality.

Impact for Residents

The new regulation will provide the municipality with a specific instrument to protect citizen coexistence in public spaces, with a regime of infractions and sanctions that will affect all residents. Therefore, the public information period constitutes the opportunity for residents and entities of the municipality to become acquainted with the content of the text and, if applicable, formulate the allegations they deem appropriate before it comes into force.
