Vallsgenera opens the 2026 call for grants for young entrepreneurs

The Municipal Institute for Local Development Vallsgenera has opened the 2026 call for grants aimed at boosting entrepreneurial action in the city through aid for young entrepreneurs, with the purpose of supporting the creation of new businesses in Valls. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 8, 2026, with the official reference CVE 2026-08316 (pp. 1-3), and derives from Resolution IMDL_RP-000241-2026, dated August 27, 2026, by the executive president of the organization.

The announcement, identified in the National Grants Database with number 927522, is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, the general grants law. The full text of the call can be consulted in the BDNS.

Beneficiaries and objective

Young people between 18 and 35 years old who are owners of companies starting a business activity with a registered office and place of activity in Valls during the period between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2025, may obtain beneficiary status.

The objective of the call is to enhance the promotion of entrepreneurial action in the city and support the creation of new businesses in Valls.

Amount and regulatory bases

A maximum total amount of 18,000.00 euros is allocated for the granting of these subsidies, charged to budget application 10.24100.48004 of the current budget.

The general grant bases of the Valls City Council and its autonomous bodies were initially approved by agreement of the Plenary of the Valls City Council on June 30, 2021, and published in the BOPT on July 12, 2021; the present call incorporates the specific bases regulating the granting procedure.

Deadline and submission of applications

The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 calendar days starting from the day after the publication of the call in the BOPT. Applications must be formalized and submitted electronically using the form available on the Vallsgenera website (www.vallsgenera.cat), in the procedures section.

• Submission after the deadline: exclusion of the applicant.
• Incorrect or incomplete documentation: 10-day deadline to correct it, otherwise resulting in withdrawal.
• Maximum deadline to resolve and notify: 6 months from the publication of the call, with dismissive effects if not resolved.
• Notification of the grant: maximum 10 days from the approval of the resolution.
• Waiver: 1 month from the publication of the resolution on the electronic office.

Payment of the grant will be made, as a general rule, once the expenditure has been carried out and justified, and the award resolutions must be mandatorily submitted to the prior report of the comptroller’s office. The award and the justification will be published in the National Grants Database.

This call represents a direct opportunity for young entrepreneurs in Valls who have recently started a company, at a time when the city council is reinforcing its support for the creation of local business fabric. Interested parties have only 15 calendar days to submit the application, for which reason it is recommended to process it promptly through the Vallsgenera website.
