Por FactBox Admin

Valls sotmet a informació pública la llicència ambiental de PLENERGY per a combustibles

The City Council of Valls has opened for public consultation the environmental license application submitted by PLENERGY GRUPO, SL to install a business for fuels, carburants, and lubricants at Eladi Homs Street, 6. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 14, 2026, with the official reference CVE 2026-08308, and opens a 30-day period for neighbors and affected entities to submit allegations.

The request was formalized on October 16, 2025, when Sara Urreta Blanco, acting on behalf and representing PLENERGY GRUPO, SL (NIF B93275394), requested the environmental license for the aforementioned activity. The procedure is processed in compliance with Article 41 of Law 20/2009, of December 4, on the environmental prevention and control of activities, which requires these requests to be publicized before they are resolved.

Deadline and procedure for allegations

During the public exhibition period, anyone who considers themselves affected by the activity may submit any observations and allegations they deem appropriate to the City Council. The file can be examined at the municipal offices at Paborde Street, 6, during office hours:

  • From Monday to Friday.
  • From 09:00 to 13:00 hours.

Regulatory framework and issuing body

The processing is framed within the Catalan regulations for the environmental prevention and control of activities, which require an environmental license for establishments with a potential impact on the environment and the health of residents, as is the case with a fuel and carburant business. The edict is electronically signed by Jerónimo Rivas Gómez, deputy secretary of the City Council of Valls, dated September 1, 2026, and is published in the announcements section of the provincial gazette.

Impact on residents

The installation of a fuel point of sale in an urban area such as Eladi Homs Street may generate concerns regarding safety, emissions, and traffic. Therefore, the law guarantees citizen participation before the resolution, so that those affected have the opportunity to convey their considerations to the municipal administration.

The final resolution of the license will depend on the analysis of the file and the allegations submitted during the public information period, which will conclude once 30 calendar days have elapsed from the publication of the announcement.
