Por FactBox Admin

The Plenary Session of the Valle de Losa City Council has initially approved, in a session held on July 28, 2026, the specific modification of the subsidiary planning regulations of this municipality in Burgos. The agreement was made public through an announcement signed by the mayor on July 31, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 156, on August 19, 2026 (official reference BOPBUR-2026-03475, p. 17).
The processing is supported by Article 52.2 of Law 5/1999, of April 8, on Urban Planning of Castilla y León, and Article 155 of its regulation, which regulate the procedure for initial approval and the public exhibition of urban planning instruments.
Public exhibition and period for objections
In accordance with regional urban planning regulations, the file shall be open to the public for one month, counted from the day following the final publication of this announcement in the official media. During this period, any person who considers themselves affected may examine the documentation and present any objections they deem appropriate.
The dissemination of the announcement is carried out simultaneously through three channels:
- Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos
- Official Gazette of Castilla y León
- Diario de Burgos
Scope of the modification
The specific modification affects the subsidiary planning regulations currently in force in the municipality, an instrument that organizes the urban development of Valle de Losa. The initially approved change impacts land owners and the conditions for building and land use; therefore, its processing is subject to the public information and objection procedures provided by law.
The agreement was adopted by the Municipal Plenary and signed by the mayor, Juan Antonio Gutiérrez Villaño, who signs the announcement in Valle de Losa on July 31, 2026.
Relevance for residents
The initial approval opens the citizen participation phase, in which affected parties can review the file and formulate objections before the document is definitively approved. For the owners and residents of Valle de Losa, this modification may condition future urban and building actions in the municipality, therefore it is recommended to consult the documentation within the one-month period.
