Valencia de Alcántara puts dry firewood up for tender in the El Carrascal public forest

The City Council of Valencia de Alcántara has announced a public tender for the forest harvesting of standing dry firewood and fallen branches in the “Las Cancillas” Estate, located in Public Forest No. 96 “El Carrascal”. The announcement is published in today’s Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres, Wednesday, September 2, 2026, number 0168, page 20393, with reference CVE BOP-2026-4143.

The call, signed by Mayor Alberto Piris Guapo on August 21, 2026, is processed in Section I of Local Administration of the gazette and is addressed to companies and individuals in the forestry sector interested in the exploitation of the public forest’s timber resources.

Object and modality of the tender

The object of the contract is the harvesting of standing dry firewood and fallen branches on the municipal estate, an action aimed at the management and cleaning of the public forest. The process will be carried out entirely electronically, with no in-person submission of bids.
