The City Council of Valencia de Alcántara has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres (number 0159, dated August 20, 2026) the rules and calls to fill two permanent civil servant positions: one for Chief Electrician and another for Gardening Operator. Both are processed through a competitive examination system (concurso-oposición) in the open category, and the application period will be 20 business days starting from the day following its publication in the Official State Gazette.
The calls were approved by separate Mayoral resolutions dated August 14, 2026, signed by Mayor Alberto Piris Guapo, and are part of the execution of the 2025 Public Employment Offer, in accordance with the Recast Text of the Basic Statute of Public Employees (Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015) and Law 13/2015 of the Public Service of Extremadura.
Two positions, two profiles
The Chief Electrician position corresponds to the Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Group C, Subgroup C1, and requires a High School diploma (Bachiller), a Medium-Level Vocational Training qualification, or equivalent. For its part, the Gardening Operator position is categorized under Group C, Subgroup C2, and requires a Secondary Education Graduate degree or Technician (Medium-Level Vocational Training) or equivalent.
