Por FactBox Admin

The Valdepeñas City Council has opened the public call for grants destined for family reconciliation projects developed by the parents’ and mothers’ associations (AMPAs) of the municipality during the 2026 fiscal year. The call is published by summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 214, dated November 5, 2026, pages 10446 to 10448, with BDNS (Identif.): 939544 and announcement number 3576. The award is resolved under a competitive bidding process, and the budget allocation is 20,000 euros.
The publication is supported by articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, which requires the publication of the call summary once the full text has been sent to the National Subsidies Database. The file is completed with Royal Decree 887/2006, which approves the law’s regulations, and with the municipal General Subsidies Ordinance, approved in the Extraordinary Plenary Session of December 5, 2016, and published in the BOP number 24, dated February 6, 2017. The specific Regulatory Bases for these grants were approved by the Municipal Plenary on June 2, 2026, and published in the BOP on October 23, 2026.
Morning classrooms, non-school days, and summer schools
The purpose of the call is to encourage the associative activity of the AMPAs to support family and work reconciliation, promote non-formal education and healthy activities, and equalize conditions between educational centers. The eligible projects are, according to the summary itself:
- Morning classrooms.
- Activities on non-school days.
- Summer schools.
The projects must be executed within the municipality of Valdepeñas throughout the 2026 fiscal year. Legal entities that meet the requirements of the third base of the Regulatory Bases—namely, the AMPAs of the municipality—may be beneficiaries.
40 points for the project and 40 for social benefit
The scale distributes one hundred points among three blocks. The evaluation considers, first, the technical and economic viability of the project, with up to 40 points, which measure budgetary adequacy, the distribution of funding, the entity’s organization and management model, its experience and track record, and the stability of the project. The socio-community benefit adds another 40 points:
- Number of direct beneficiaries.
- Degree of benefit provided to participants through educational actions within the morning classroom.
- Number of scheduled reconciliation actions.
The level of co-financing with the entity’s own funds provides the remaining 20 points. After analyzing each project, the mandatory proposal report will be issued.
20,000 euros and distribution of the remainder
The grants are charged to item 32300.480.00 of the 2026 municipal budget, which is endowed with 20,000 euros. To ensure the full execution of the item, if the number of approved applications is fewer than ten or the total amount granted does not exhaust the credit, the surplus will be distributed proportionally among the beneficiary entities according to the score obtained. No entity may receive more than 100% of the total budget of its project.
The deadline for submitting applications is 20 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the BOP; therefore, it extends from November 6 to November 25, 2026. The processing is governed by the seventh clause of the Regulatory Bases, and the full text with its annexes can be consulted in the National Subsidy Advertising System.
The call reaches families with school-age children in a school year in which work-life balance depends largely on the organizational capacity of each AMPA (Parents’ Association), such that the distribution of the credit and the weight of the scale on the social benefit determine which centers will be able to maintain morning classrooms and activities on non-teaching days.
