Valdepeñas announces a photography contest with a prize pool of 4,500 euros

The Valdepeñas City Council has announced a photography competition with a first prize of 3,000 euros and a second prize of 1,500 euros, according to the extract published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 178, dated September 16, 2026. The regulatory bases were approved by Mayoral Resolution of September 9, 2026, and the application period runs from September 21 to October 9, 2026. The announcement, identified as Announcement number 2943, appears on page 32 of the gazette.

The publication is carried out in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, which requires the publication of extracts of calls for subsidies and prizes. Artists who meet the following requirements may take part in the competition:

• Be Spanish or foreign, in both cases with residence in Spain.

Prizes and purpose of the competition

The competition establishes two awards, both instituted by the Most Excellent City Council of Valdepeñas:
