Valdepeñas approves the subsidy guidelines for Parent-Teacher Associations (AMPAs) for morning classrooms
Por FactBox Admin

The Valdepeñas City Council has initially approved the regulatory bases for subsidies destined for parent-teacher associations for the maintenance of early morning classrooms. The agreement, adopted by the Most Excellent Plenary Council in a session held on July 1, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 169, dated September 3, 2026, and opens a public information period of 30 business days for the submission of claims or allegations.
The call is processed under file 11344/2026 and is formalized through Agreement 2026-0051, with the procedure titled “AMPAs Valdepeñas Subsidies.” The announcement, number 2832, is signed by the mayor, Jesús Martín Rodríguez, and by the head of the BOP office, Pablo Salazar Sánchez.
Purpose and beneficiaries of the aid
The bases regulate the subsidies directed at parent-teacher associations of educational centers in Valdepeñas, with the aim of economically sustaining the maintenance of early morning classrooms. This is a reconciliation service that allows for the care of students prior to the start of the school day.
- Beneficiaries: parent-teacher associations (AMPAs) of Valdepeñas.
- Purpose: maintenance of early morning classrooms.
- Approving body: the Plenary of the Valdepeñas City Council.
- File: 11344/2026.
- Agreement: 2026-0051.
Consultation and period for allegations
The bases can be consulted at the Education Department of the City Council or on the Transparency Portal of the municipal electronic office, under the section “4. Aid and subsidies.” The full text remains available to interested parties during the public exhibition period.
A period of 30 business days is established to formulate claims or allegations, counted from the insertion of the initial approval announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province and on the municipal notice board.
Processing and effects
If no claims or allegations of any kind are presented during the public exhibition period, the provisional agreement will automatically be elevated to definitive, being published in the Official Gazette of the Province. In this way, the initial approval may become final without the need for a new pronouncement from the Plenary.
The measure reinforces municipal support for Valdepeñas families in reconciling work and family life by guaranteeing the continuity of an early care educational service. The participation of the AMPAs in the allegations period will be key to refining the conditions of the call before its final approval.
