Valdeaveruelo processes an extraordinary credit for its 2026 Budget
Por FactBox Admin

The Plenary of the Valdeaveruelo City Council initially approved, in an extraordinary session held on October 26, 2026, a credit modification of its 2026 Budget in the form of an extraordinary credit financed by higher revenues over the initial credits, under file CEX 01/2026. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 206, corresponding to Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in the CITY COUNCILS section on page 1. The insertion opens a fifteen-day period for legitimate interested parties to file claims against the approval.
The announcement does not detail the amount of the extraordinary credit nor the specific budgetary allocations to which the modification is destined, details that must be consulted in the administrative file. The text is limited to identifying the chosen modality—extraordinary credit—and its source of financing: higher revenues over the initial credits of the current fiscal year.
Initial approval in extraordinary session
The body adopting the agreement is the municipal Plenary, meeting extraordinarily on October 26, 2026, and the resolution is expressly qualified as an initial approval, not a final one. The announcement appears signed by the mayor, Alberto Cortés Gómez, dated October 26, 2026, in the town itself.
The publication complies with the public information procedure provided for in Article 169 of the Recast Text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, to which paragraph 2 of Article 177 of the same legal text refers for credit modifications.
Fifteen days to file claims
During the fifteen-day period, legitimate interested parties may file claims against the initial approval agreement. The documentation remains available to interested parties at two points:
- the Municipal Deputy Secretariat-Audit of the Valdeaveruelo City Council;
- the notice board of the municipal electronic office, accessible at https://valdeaveruelo.sedelectronica.es.
The announcement specifies that, if the period expires without any allegation or claim being presented, the adopted agreement will be considered final without the need for a new pronouncement by the Plenary. That is, the initial approval is consolidated by the simple passage of the public exhibition period if no challenge occurs.
Higher revenues over a budget of 1.45 million
The extraordinary credit is financed by higher revenues compared to the initial forecasts, once the General Budget for the fiscal year has been definitively approved. This budget was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 164, dated August 27, 2026, along with the personnel establishment, with a consolidated total of 1,454,146.68 euros for both income and expenditure.
The summary by chapters of the initial budget, according to the annex published in August, is as follows:
- Income: direct taxes, 617,304.85 euros; indirect taxes, 80,000.00 euros; fees and other income, 220,790.50 euros; current transfers, 362,809.95 euros; capital income, 14,319.76 euros; capital transfers, 158,921.62 euros.
- Expenditure: personnel, 396,216.22 euros; current expenses, 789,030.00 euros; financial expenses, 8,000.00 euros; current transfers, 44,509.64 euros; real investments, 186,090.82 euros; financial liabilities, 30,300.00 euros.
The August announcement also reminded that a contentious-administrative appeal could be filed against the definitive approval of the budget within a period of two months, in accordance with articles 170 and 171 of the same consolidated text.
The processing of CEX 01/2026 directly affects municipal management and local creditors and contractors: until the fifteen days of public information have elapsed, the definitive nature of the modification will not be known, and it will be then that the City Council can execute the new credits charged to the higher projected revenues.
