Valdeavellano de Tera presents the water and refuse rolls for claims.
Por FactBox Admin

The Town Council of Valdeavellano de Tera has provisionally approved the tax roll for the fee for the provision of the water and sewerage service, corresponding to the period from October 2023 to May 2024, and the tax roll for the waste fee for 2024, and displays them in public at the Municipal Secretariat, in a procedure affecting all taxpayers of the municipality, so that they may submit claims. The announcement, signed by the Mayor Laura C. Prieto Arribas on August 10, 2026, is published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Soria, number 94, of August 14, 2026, with reference BOPSO-94-14082026-1575.
The edict is inserted in the Local Administration section of the Soria official newspaper, on page 2797, and opens the procedure that is to close the settlement of two municipal taxes collected periodically: the water and sewerage service and waste collection. The public display is the step prior to the final approval of the tax rolls, which may only take place once the objections period has elapsed without claims or after resolution of those submitted.
Tax rolls subject to public information
The announcement comprises two periodic settlements displayed simultaneously:
- The fee for the provision of the water and sewerage service, corresponding to the period from October 2023 to May 2024.
- The waste fee corresponding to the 2024 financial year.
Both tax rolls include the bills that taxpayers of the municipality must pay for services provided by the town council itself, so virtually all households in Valdeavellano de Tera are included in one of the two lists.
Where and by what deadline
The tax rolls are displayed at the Secretariat of the Corporation for a period of fifteen business days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Bulletin of the Province, for the purpose of possible claims. During that period, any interested party may examine the settlements included in both tax rolls and submit the objections they deem appropriate to the town council itself.
The count is calculated in business days, so Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not counted, and begins the day after the insertion of the announcement in the official bulletin of August 14.
From provisional approval to final approval
The edict warns that, if no claims are submitted, the tax rolls will be considered definitively approved, so that the settlements will become final and ready to be collected. The resolution is signed by the Mayor, Laura C. Prieto Arribas, in Valdeavellano de Tera on August 10, 2026.
Public exposure is the last opportunity for the residents of Valdeavellano de Tera to review their water, sewage, and garbage receipts before the settlements become final. Those who detect errors in the fees, in the billed periods, or in the ownership of the receipts must submit their claim within fifteen business days: once the procedure is exhausted without claims, the registers will be definitively approved and the collection period will begin.
