The Management of the University of León has resolved the specific competition for the provision of job positions for technical, management, administration, and services civil servants, awarding a total of 17 positions to the applicants listed in the annex of the resolution. Following the conclusion of the proceedings by the Evaluation Committees and the submission of the proposed resolutions, the Management proceeds with the final awarding of the positions.

  • Nicasio Sánchez Castellanos (PF000330), managing officer for Sports and University Community Ombudsman.
  • Marta Sandoval Martínez (PF000115), technical manager of the University Extension and Outreach Service.
  • Sonia Santos Álvarez (PF000177), head of the Decentralized Payments Unit.
  • Ana Suárez Blanco (PF000013), management head of the Department of Mining Technology, Topography and Structures.
  • Elena Suárez Láiz (PF000138), technical manager of the Academic Management Service.
  • Esther Tagarro Jáñez (PF000085), administrator of the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences.

Furthermore, the resolution makes public that Mr. Julio López Moraleda has resigned from the position for which the award had been proposed, having obtained a destination in another public call prior to the end of the possession period.

Deadlines and appeals

The cessation from the current job position will take place within three business days following the publication of the resolution, and possession of the new destination must be taken on the business day following the cessation if there is no change of address, or within ten business days if the new destination entails a change of address.

Against this resolution, which does not exhaust the administrative route, an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed before the Magnificent Rector of the University of León within one month from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León.
