Por FactBox Admin

The Regional Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid has resolved the call for grants for audiovisual companies for the development of audiovisual projects in 2026, with a total distribution of 1,000,000 euros among 30 beneficiaries. The decision is formalized through Order 1994/2026, of October 26, by the regional minister Mariano de Paco Serrano, published in the OFFICIAL GAZETTE OF THE COMMUNITY OF MADRID number 260, of October 29, 2026.
The expenditure is charged to budget line G/334A/47399 of the Directorate General for Culture and Creative Industries, within the Expenditure Budget of the Community of Madrid for 2026. The initial call was approved by Order 617/2026, of April 14, published in extract in the OFFICIAL GAZETTE OF THE COMMUNITY OF MADRID number 99, of April 28, 2026, and was later corrected by Order 835/2026, of May 11 (extract in number 125, of May 28). The regulatory bases derive from Order 440/2020, of June 23.
The resolution is issued under article 41 of Law 1/1983, of December 13, on the Government and Administration of the Community of Madrid, and article 7.1.a) of Law 2/1995, of March 8, on Subsidies of the Community of Madrid.
Thirty beneficiaries and a distribution adjusted to the credit

The assessment was based on four criteria: relevance and added value for the Madrid audiovisual sector (up to 55 points), dissemination of results (25), quality of content and sustainability of activities (10), and impact (10), for a total of 100 points.
183 applications dismissed
Annex II rejects 183 applications with an assigned amount of 0 euros. There are two causes:
- 161 applications due to lack of available credit, including the highest-rated in this group, Arxlight S.L. with “Pim, Pam, Pum ¡Fuera!” (09-DES2-00092.7/2026, 78.50 points).
- 22 applications for not reaching the minimum score of 60 points, such as that of María Araujo Úbeda with “Incompleta” (37.75 points).
Single payment and justification deadline until November 10
Payment will be made in a single installment via bank transfer, following justification of the fulfillment of the aid’s purpose. The supporting documentation must be submitted by November 10, 2026. The grants are subject to the de minimis regime of Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 of December 13, 2023, with a limit of 300,000 euros per beneficiary over three years.
The order concludes the administrative process: an optional appeal for reversal may be filed within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal within two months before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Madrid. The effects take place from the day following its publication.
The distribution consolidates public support for project development—not production—in a sector that presented 213 applications in this call and in which practically all well-rated projects were excluded due to the exhaustion of credit, with a real cutoff between 78.50 and 79.25 points.
