UFD submits for public information the replacement of an electrical support in Ribeira

The Territorial Department of A Coruña of the Ministry of Economy and Industry submits for public information the request for prior administrative and construction authorization, as well as the declaration of public utility, of an electric power distribution installation in the municipal district of Ribeira. The petitioner is UFD Distribución Electricidad S.A., which plans to replace a medium-voltage line support to comply with regulatory distances to a building.

The announcement, signed on September 3, 2026, by the territorial director Isidoro Martínez Arca, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 171, Tuesday, September 8, 2026, under announcement number 2026/5792 and file IN407A 2026/201-1.

Object of the action

The action consists of the replacement of support 9GITRU62-81 of the medium-voltage line PMR806 with a new lattice support of characteristics C 1000/18 in anchorage, equipped with an H-35 crossarm, with the objective of raising the section and guaranteeing safety distances to the existing building. This is complemented by the retensioning of the previous and subsequent spans, currently in LA-110 conductor.

The declaration of public utility, under article 56 of Law 24/2013, of the electricity sector, implies the necessity of occupying the affected assets and entails urgent occupation, under the terms of article 52 of the Law of Compulsory Expropriation.

Affected assets

The specific and individualized list of assets and rights considered necessary for expropriation appears in the annex of the agreement. The impact affects one plot in full ownership:

• Plot 1 — Braña do Forno area, cadastral reference 15074A022002790000KA, agricultural rural.
• Owner: Andrés Fernández Lampón.
• Support no. AP1, with a land impact of 2.0 m².

Period for allegations

Interested parties, owners of the properties, or holders of real rights or economic interests over the affected assets who may have been omitted, may examine the technical documentation and present allegations within a period of 30 days starting from the day following the final publication of the agreement.

The documentation is available at the Energy Section of the Territorial Department of A Coruña (rúa Vicente Ferrer, no. 2, 2nd floor, 15071 A Coruña), between 9:00 and 14:00 hours from Monday to Friday, as well as on the municipal notice board and the Ministry’s Transparency and Open Government Portal.

The publication of this announcement is of special interest to the owners of land affected by the power line in Ribeira, who have one month to formulate their allegations before the administration resolves on the authorization and the urgent expropriation of the properties.
