Tourism proposes granting 4.94 million in tourism positioning grants
Por FactBox Admin

Turisme Comunitat Valenciana has proposed to provisionally grant 265 grants from program 1 to boost the positioning of the tourism sector, for a total amount of 4,939,508.83 euros against an allocation of 5 million. The provisional resolution proposal, dated October 6, 2026, and signed by the director of the organization, Israel Martínez Fernández, is published in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) no. 10481, of October 28, 2026, in section III of administrative acts, within the grants and scholarships section, with the official reference CVE: DOGV-C-2026-33621.
The master call is the Resolution of March 23, 2026, from the Presidency of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, published in the DOGV no. 10331 of March 27, 2026. Program 1 is aimed at tourism companies in the Comunitat Valenciana that develop projects during 2026 oriented toward the positioning of the sector, charged to the budget line S0357 “Boost to tourism competitiveness,” from chapter IV.
The initial allocation was 4,000,000 euros and was increased by 1,000,000 euros through the Resolution of September 24, 2026, from the Presidency, published in the DOGV no. 10461 of September 29, 2026, reaching 5,000,000 euros. The processing is governed by Decree 4/2017, of March 31, modified by Decree 6/2023, of April 26, and by Law 38/2003, of November 17, the general law on subsidies.
265 projects and an average grant below the ceiling
The Grant Evaluation Commission met on October 1, 2026, and approved the scoring of the projects, their ranking from highest to lowest, and the eligible cost determined by the instructing body. This resulted in 265 favorable actions, with sufficient budget allocation to meet all favorably evaluated requests.
The aid intensity is 70% of the eligible cost, and the maximum amount per beneficiary entity does not exceed 90,000 euros. Among the files in the annex are, for example:
- CEV-3-26, MONTAÑA SELECCION SL (B97556278): promotion of a unique gastronomic experience at Casa Montaña, with 8,260 euros in eligible costs and 5,782 euros in aid.
- CRV-1-26, PAGO DE THARSYS SL (B96089842): deseasonalization plan for wine tourism, with 43,995 euros in eligible costs and 30,796.50 euros in aid.
Allegations, tax compliance, and justification period
Of the 265 files reported favorably, 246 are up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations. The remaining 19 are conditional upon proving such compliance before the final resolution; in three cases, the inquiry was not possible. Beneficiaries receiving aid exceeding 30,000 euros must also prove compliance with the payment deadlines of Law 3/2004, of December 29, within ten business days from notification.
Publication in the DOGV serves as notification and opens a period of ten business days, starting from the following day, to present allegations and provide documentation. The Resolution of July 27, 2026, published in DOGV no. 10420 of August 3, 2026, set the maximum resolution deadline for December 4, 2026, and the justification deadline for January 8, 2027, although activities must be completed, invoiced, and paid in 2026.
Fifteen rejected applications
The same DOGV no. 10481 publishes the proposed resolution of October 6, 2026, denying aid from program 1, with reference CVE: DOGV-C-2026-32757, affecting fifteen applicants. The summarized reasons include the project not aligning with the objective or the eligible actions, the eligible cost not exceeding the minimum of 6,000 euros —reducible to 3,000 euros only for those affiliated with Creaturisme Comunitat Valenciana— and failure to meet beneficiary requirements.
Among the cases are BRISACAS, S.L. (CAC-37-26), because the project is linked to an excluded cultural and musical event; TEPINSA SA (CVC-14-26), with a budget of 4,500 euros; WILD JUMP MONTANEJOS OE (COC-24-26), with 5,430 euros; BONANZA CAPITAL SL (CVV-4-26), for invoicing the entire project to a company within the same group; and DUNAS TRAVEL SPAIN, S.L. (CAA-40-26), whose activity is centered in Egypt.
The result is important for the Valencian tourism sector because it determines who can count on public funding in the final stretch of the fiscal year: nearly 4.94 million are distributed among 265 projects, while the allocation margin —about 60,000 euros— and the conditionality of 19 files leave the final list open until the firm resolution, scheduled before December 4, 2026.
