Merit competition and waiting list

The selection system is a merit competition, with a maximum of ten points divided into two sections:

  • Professional experience: up to 5 points, with 0.10 points per full month worked in the category in any public administration and 0.05 points per month in the private sector.
  • Training related to the position: up to 5 points, at a rate of 0.03 points per accredited teaching hour.

The Qualifying Board will be composed of a president, three members, and a secretary, all of whom shall be municipal public employees, along with their corresponding alternates. The provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates will be published on the municipal electronic office and on the Notice Board, with three business days for claims or corrections; the final list will include the appointment of the board and the date of its constitution.

Applicants who meet the requirements but do not obtain a position will be placed on a waiting list to cover future substitutions due to leaves during the program’s validity.

Impact for the municipality’s unemployed

The call represents an opportunity for direct temporary public employment for unemployed persons from Trujillo, with immediate incorporation and validity until the end of the year. The process will be resolved exclusively based on merits, without a competitive examination phase, and all processing following the guidelines will be disseminated on the Notice Board and on the municipal electronic office (trujillo.sedelectronica.es), therefore interested parties must follow both channels to learn about lists, board dates, and results.
