Three irrigation communities present their 2026 irrigation fees

Three irrigation communities in the province of Granada have released their collection registers for public exhibition for the 2026 fiscal year, including the fees per fanega and the irrigation hours from the Francisco Abellán reservoir. The edicts are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 166, dated August 28, 2026, in the Other Entities section, and are signed by the collector Aben Rodríguez López.

The registers are on display for 20 days at the secretariat of each community and at the collection offices of the Central de Recaudación, C.B., located at calle Alcalá de Henares, 4, bajo 1, Granada. During this period, community members may consult their individual data, file claims, or correct errors; if no claims are made, the registers will be considered final.

Fees and irrigation hours of the Francisco Abellán reservoir

The Irrigation Community of Agramasón, Benalúa, Palomar and Ceque, Benalúa, Palomar and Ceque Syndicate (reference BOP-GRA-2026-166009) approved its distributions in the Ordinary General Meeting held on February 6, 2026, with the following amounts:

• Ordinary distribution fee: 83.34 €/fanega.
• Irrigation hours from the Francisco Abellán reservoir: 6 €/hour (extra hours, exceeding the allocation, at 18 €/hour).
• Irrigation from the Rutan reservoir/stream: 3 €/hour (extra hour at 9 €/hour).
• Well irrigation: 10 €/hour.
• Repair of irrigation ditches (atarjeas) and well adaptation: 26.65 €/fanega.

Batán de Purullena

The Irrigation Community of Batán de Purullena (reference BOP-GRA-2026-166010) approved its distributions in the Ordinary General Meeting of March 6, 2026, which include the administration fee, the Francisco Abellán reservoir canon, and the repair of culibres for 2026, as well as the partial deferred payment of the 2025 canon:

• Administration fee: 47 €/fanega.
• Francisco Abellán reservoir canon (Batán): 17 €/fanega.
• Francisco Abellán reservoir canon (Lopera): 17 €/fanega.
• Partial deferred payment of Francisco Abellán canon 2025: 10 €/fanega.
• Repair of culibres: 17 €/hour.

Acequia de Talabarte

The Irrigation Community of the Acequia de Talabarte (reference BOP-GRA-2026-166011) approved its distributions in the Ordinary General Meeting of December 26, 2025, with the ordinary distribution fee and the consumption fee:

• Ordinary distribution fee: 15 €/fanega.
• Consumption fee: 0.028 €/m³ (excess over the assigned allocation is paid at 0.05 €/m³).

Payment deadlines and surcharges

The voluntary payment period is a single window running from August 31 to October 30, 2026, both inclusive, or the immediate following business day. Payment is made using the receipts provided at collaborating financial institutions. Once this period has elapsed, receipts will incur a surcharge of 10% per month up to a maximum of 30%, according to the ordinances of each community, and the enforcement procedure will begin with late payment interest and costs, under the terms of articles 26 and 28 of the General Tax Law 58/2003.

The publication of these registers directly affects the commoners of the three entities, who must pay their fees within the specified period to avoid surcharges. The consultation of individual data and the filing of claims is possible during the 20 days of public exhibition, and an appeal for reversal may be filed before the president of each community, or a contentious-administrative appeal, against the inclusion, exclusion, or alteration of data.
