In the expenditure chapter, personnel account for 34.6% of the total and current goods and services 54.1%, meaning both items together sum to nearly 89% of the budget. Real investments are limited to 43,238 euros, 5.6% of the global amount.

The permanent labor staff consists of four positions:

  • Nursery Teacher.

The bulk of the workforce consists of temporary contractual staff, with 30 temporary positions, most of which are part-time:

  • Three Home Care assistants.
  • One administrative assistant from the PCEME.
  • One maintenance laborer from the Diputación Integra Program.
  • Eight maintenance laborers for PCEME, Local Entities Employment Plan, provincial plan, and swimming pool.
  • Four swimming pool lifeguards.
  • Four sociocultural monitors for the Activa Cultura Program and the PCEM for Conciliation and Co-responsibility.
  • One nursery assistant.
  • Eight laborers from the PFEA.

Challenge and effects

The final approval of the budget may be challenged before the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction in accordance with the requirements, formalities, and grounds set forth in Articles 171 and 178 of the consolidated text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, and in the manner and within the time limits established by the rules of said jurisdiction.

The final budget sets the spending capacity of the municipality for all of 2026 and clears the uncertainty regarding the financing of municipal services, from the nursery and home care to the maintenance of infrastructure and the swimming pool. However, the scarce presence of real investments and the weight of current expenditure outline a limited margin for new actions without resorting to credit modifications or external financing.
